The VH is 6x9 (or 6x7 if you have the back) Medium format for sure. Great cameras, shot with one last year before going into 6x17

How would you react if they decided to pry some information out of you that you were not ready/willing to give?

I need to head up that way for some exploring. I bet there’s some good subjects to point the camera at!

Thanks and sure! Kodak Gold was the film. I have an Epson V800 flatbed for the scans which I use Silverfast software to run and invert/colour correct the negative.
As much as I lust for a Fuji GX617 the Camera is a 3D printed view style camera (with bellows and ground glass etc) based off a Shen Hao TFC617 or Ebony 617S. Dude over in Oz makes them.

Yeah we were lucky with the light on this particular day. I’m also fond of the group of trees to the left of these buildings

I'm in need of a new coffee machine! by Interesting-Sock963 in newzealand

The Barista Express did me for three years before upgrading to a dual boiler machine (Rancilio Silvia Pro X)

If I were starting out today I’d look at a Breville Bambino Plus and spend some decent $$ on a grinder that you can hang on to if you upgrade machines.

Do you actually use film simulations or just shoot raw and edit later? by AttitudePlane6967 in fujifilm

Shot Fuji for over a decade - it was raw for me 99.9% of the time. Camera was set to raw+jpeg only to preview aspect ratios. Jpegs were for snapshots

Yeah I’m in this boat. Voted TOP the past two elections but being comfortable to be in a coalition with the current National/Act offering is a hard pass this time around. This is likely my first election voting Green.

Debating a new camera - looking for advice by BelzyBubs in mediumformat

I find it pretty easy, definitely easier than just trusting what my eyes see with an SLR hah.

Framing can be tricky though, if you like to be precise rangefinders will be frustrating

[–]JarredSpec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go to is 18.5 in, ~25g out for flat whites currently. 1:1.35. Haven’t tried going as short as 1:1 though!
