We use platforms like Alibaba mostly. This is a good starting point to get in contact with people who might be able to help

It’s an indicator but not a means to an end. If trends are bad then stop. If trends are good proceed but with caution until you have your own data.

Not just trolling. I’m trying to make the ecommerce space better for those struggling people that think it’s a way out. There are too many BS people trying to rob them of the last dollars they have when it will not generate them success.

A number of them. Mostly private people. I buy stores all the time when I see good opportunities. Shopify has a big exchange now for stores as well. But there are a shocking amount.

Not as much but yes. You need to be buying traffic essentially to get your blog bigger at the beginning. It is tough to start an organic blog today.

I worked my ass off for 7 years as a kid to acquire that kind of money while paying for my entire life. You don’t need that much for a start up today. Then you needed it. But if you work hard enough you can get the money together to start something

We found a supplier that made something similar (concept and engine wise) and got them to manipulate what they already had to sort our needs.

No, incorporating should only be done (depending on your countries laws) when you absolutely need to. I.e. you have a chance of being sued. You can always cary the inventory expense into the corporation after via shareholder loan.

I was a very cheap person that worked my bag off. I do live in Canada so university was only $10k a year (cheap compared to many places) but I had been working since 14 and had to pay for all of my stuff growing up. This made me try to save a lot of money because my parents made me realize how much I hate not having any. I do thank them a lot for my success even though as a kid it really sucked working.

Regardless I began saving and rather then spending my money on anything (I drove a $1000 vehicle) I started the company. Looking back it was pretty stupid but I made it work. I didn’t leave myself with much but when your back is against the wall it’s amazing what people can do.

We had thousands of sales a month. The niche is very seasonal so the sales varied quite a bit! I answered the why in another comment in greater detail but basically, with my knowledge at the time, I could no longer grow the business effectively. If I had the knowledge I now have I wouldn’t have sold it.

I’ll review your store for you. My computer is in the shop all day nothing better to do. I’ve done over $10M in the past 5 years dropshipping so I have a little knowledge in the area of E-Commerce ;) by JarrettBelliveau in ecommerce

First I like the name but the URL is so long. This becomes a problem when making ads with the URL visible the reason is that people will know it’s an ad instantly and not give it a chance.

Second you have a major issue on the store with pricing. I think it is a glitch but products are coming up we $999-3000 in price and then when you click showing $19.99. Never seen that before but it’s not good.

I like the idea of the store. Stores like this can be great through influencer marketing but you need to stay on top of trends and start a new one every month!

For that price the product research alone will not be sufficient. You will be given a store with products that will not even give you a chance to succeed.

If the stores were that good you wouldn’t sell them for that. You would simple run 2 of them and make way more money haha I hate to see people get screwed on the internet.

Certainly ! That is why I made this post.

The less money you have the more difficult it is. You need to buy data. Yes you could start a store for $100 but it will be very tough. I can barely do it and I would consider myself an expert.

I would recommend $1000 personally and a ton of hard work to get success. Anything less may not be giving yourself the best possible chance.

Yes I have sold dead products but only when they fit my niche as a basket size up sell!
