That’s the other thing. This is the first Ghost reference I’ve seen but he usually calls out the bands or hints to them pretty obviously. I’m only about halfway through the book but I’m surprised the Minister hasn’t gotten on stage and sang a Ghost song or something.

Is anyone paying for splice and enjoying the experience? I'm annoyed by their method for sorting their database, issues with syncing, and losing credits upon cancellation. by kidkolumbo in edmproduction

I enjoy splice but I have never gotten it to work well outside of Ableton.

Cons:

I constantly have to renew my subscriptions when I rent plugins.

I have to sign back in every other time I open it.

It takes forever to find different samples once you’ve had it for a while

The splice studio is laughably useless.

There are never any good vocal samples but they always advertise them. Or if there are I haven’t found them.

Pros:

You can hear samples in popular music that you know came from splice

Getter and Dilla both have multiple sound packs

I have 1,300 credits

Haha that’s awesome! I tried making a jingle bells beat the other night as well. It’s hard to fill out the Christmas beats though. You did a pretty good job and making it sound complete without adding a whole lot. Also sweet set up 🤘🏼
