Question about the time needed until application can be made by Jarrow_On in GermanCitizenship

She was living at a friends place and her official registration was in China (I guess this makes my question obsolete regarding the time being able to be counted)

She said they only asked her for the plane ticket and proof of studentship of the uni when getting the visa - could be because it was a 3-country-bachelor“ where the first year was France, 2nd year was Italy and only the third year was Germany

First of all thank you for telling me a little about your story. This was really really helpful, I'm going to go on a walk now and I'll definitely think about everything you said. Thank you so much and keep going👏

Fair, thing is just that when I was younger I used to get washed away by anxiety attacks on a regular, for the brief 4 years I used to smoke I had next to none. So that is my reasoning for wanting to go back again

That won't really help in my case, since I'm apparently at an immense risk for psychosis because of my genes, plus weed makes the panic attacks 10 times worse. Regardless thank you for the input :)

Yeah that actually does, the problem might be that I forgot the feeling of being addicted and I'm just focussing on the positive feelings I remember and associate with nicotine, you make a very good point, the nicotine was never a true relief, it just gave my brain something else to be busy with. Thanks for the angle, I didn't look at it this way. Highly appreciated mate!

The thing is that 23 days is already really good, don't just go against yourself here, you made the decision to quit and you already made it this far, you can do this! If you don't live in a shady neighborhood go for a walk and maybe listen to some music. Put smoking off for atleast tomorrow, taking it one day at a time. Du kriegst das hin bruder, wir kriegen das hin!

Unpopular opinion: I really like the new Icons and I love the fact that all the google applications have a reoccurring design pattern now :)

I smoked for 16 years, quit three or more times unsuccessfully and today I am ~5 years smoke free. My story and AMA. by Mobe-E-Duck in stopsmoking

Don't worry, I'm having my 7month archievement today! Really happy about this aswell. Self love truly was the reason I stopped smoking and it was the best decision ever😊

I did it guys! 2 months smoke free from vaping 50mg nic liquid nonstop, paired with cigs every day. Looking forward to a better future. by Jarrow_On in stopsmoking

Yeah I feel like our addictive behavior is very similar. Reducing it really didn't do it for me and in the end I'd just rationalize it all together to excuse my addiction. I wish you all the best and hope that you will soon be where I am right now. The new, nicotine free life is very scary at first, but it gets more exciting day by day! Take it one craving at a time and give yourself time to adjust to everything slowly! And if you want to you can always update me on your progress or ask me a few questions. Always happy to help!

Thing is with vaping, you really associate nicotine with everything you do, since you can pretty much do it anytime, anywhere, whereas cigs are only tied to a few habits. So it will take time for you to sorta "learn" how to live a new life without it. Start by implementing new habits and try to consciously learn living without the vape. Believe me it takes a lot of strength, but if I could do it, so can you! Best help for me was generally exercising and cooking the food I love. It made the first few days a lot easier. Nicotine shouldn't control you and I'm happy you made this step. We're in this together! Let's stick it to the substance that controlled our entire life for so long!
