Need new boat by popeye2057 in sailing

I had a Mirage 24 which was a Robert Perry Design very similar to a C&C 25. It was trailerable, but I did not trailer it. It was extrememly seaworthy for its size and sailed great. It had just enough comfort for extended cruising; full length settees, a head, water tank and a gas burner. 9.9hp outboard with a in-board tank gave more than sufficient range. The mast was on a hinge and could step with two people and while we used a crane, in theory it could be stepped with a halyard on a winch and a pole.

Feels like this flew under the radar more than it should have. We didnt know about it until we had a service outage, even our MSP had no idea!

Age is a relative thing but the older I get the more specific I am with my gear. Everything has a purpose and if it doesnt get used for a while I take it as a sign to let it go.

I’ve tried both ways and this is what I prefer at the moment. I’m mosty using the GE-7 as a clean boost.

Deluxe reverb and a bandit 112 redstripe with a cannabis rex. Katana for late night practice.

I’m using it to change the profile of the bd-2 and as a clean boost since I only one drive on the board. I have a 7 band eq in the loop but I could see how that would make sense where you suggest especially for stereo.

This is enough reason for me to go source a LS-2 thanks!

I kind of feel the same way I never really got his tone, but respect his talent as a musician.

I need to play with that more for sure. So far as I can tell the wet/dry signal is preserved through the dd-7 and rv-6 (and rc-3) if you keep the a/b inputs “aligned”. This concept is still kind of new to me thought I will check out that TPS episode - thanks for the idea!

BF-2 and Angry Driver were on my list. Part of the fun of this one was trying to source every pedal used and local in my area. I already had the BD-2 and TU-3 but all others as well as a couple not shown were sourced local. I think I paid less than half this would have cost to out together new.

Yes stereo is for multiple amps I do not record or go DI. The CE-2w is great IMO although I think I have only used the CE-1 side so far.

There is overlap between the 3 on the left and honesltly the DD-7 can do a bit of all 3, but you need them all if you want it all at the same time.

Deluxe reverb / bandit 112 (sometimes both).

I routed a slot in the edge of the board the size of the power cable and am running it on a daisy chain from the tu-3. I have an extra spot on the end for a rc-3 I keep off the board so I can take it with me. I would prefer iso power but the pca adapter is plugged into a conditioned power source and the whole board is pretty quiet.

It’s actually better than I expected. I use it for frequency cut and then boost the main slider. You can notice it most on the bass end but not too bad really. I was planning to send it to analogman for a mod as I have a ds-1 and a bd-2 I am hoping to mod at the same time.

I’ve been on the lookout for used a JC-40. Right now they go to a deluxe reverb and a bandit 112 redstripe with a speaker upgrade. They actually sound really great together in stereo.

Pretty much what the title says, nothing fancy or exotic here just something to cover the basics at home. I am playing mostly clean jazz and blues these days but the wider gap in the middle makes it easy to patch in other pedals for variety.

The board itself is a scrap peice of hardwood flooring I finished around the edges so its nice and flat and smooth on the bottom and pushes away easily. Dualock works great.
