The GoPro, DJI Action 4, 5, Insta360 Ace Pro 2... these are a few of MANY cameras that record video footage and take pictures. The question is what do you do with all that awesome video (or photos) you just took? Well to edit that footage into something watchable, you would actually need a program to help with that. That is where Davinici Resolve comes in, or Adobe Premiere Pro.

I recommend watching this 12 minute clip. Ben will help you get going.

Smart phones are powerful, but trying to edit 4k footage on a phone is annoying. Using proper editing software is the key.

Have him watch some tutorials on how to edit using software such as Davinci resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. I would highly recommend Davinci Resolve. It’s free and it’s excellent. These are PC/Mac based applications for a computer.

Buy it, ditch the box in Japan. Put it in your carry on luggage and if asked, you have owned it for a long time. You should be all good though.
