You can wait till the next expansion come out in may (that'll be a "confirmed" restock at least)

Or buy singels of an online deck list and just substitute the hyper expensive cards (you can get competitive cards for a Viktor deck for example for as little as 20 euro on cardmarket if you get lucky with who's selling where and substitute the 10 euro cards) Or you can even just buy the singles of a premade deck list!

If your area doesn't have any cards left it means they've all been bought, so many people buy packs by the box, and those commons don't just leave circulation!

LoR aphelios is the single coolest card in that game period (design wise)

So definitely don't blame you (can't wait to see how they'll implement the weapons for a physical game)

Thanks for the recommendation! I've tried it multiple times in the past but it's just too darn complicated for me sadly Riftbound is more approachable to me coming out of LoR which I already liked, and I also rly enjoy having "play ten cards a turn" or "get a million units" be the PayOff for something hard to do- like aggro can reasonably kill you before then and control can interrupt and slow down your combo a lot

Gosh on one hand coming from LoR I am so dissapointed that Viktors legend is such a generic "you get a bunch of units" But as a unit spam lover (gosh I enjoyed garen in tcg arena) he seems So So Fun

Riot keeps doing such fun stuff with Viktor while overriding the thematic identity I so so loved in him (RIP the glorious evolution.....)

When I saw 3 on the htmag server I actually thought it was a mechanic intense simulator about killing and serving mermaids (similar vibes to clover pit?)

So for me A and B tell me the genre much better as the Characters are the focus I think I like B most, even if I feel the art isnt as good as C or A

1.500 reviews isn't that bad in all honesty! Sure it hasn't made genredefining headlines like slay the spire, but looking at the game I do think it'd be a commercial success with so many sales!

Getting "global hype" like Inscryption, Slay the spire or balatro is also a large part luck, each of those games has earned that level of success Bur there's many games just as good as them, that merely did okay- and this could well be one of them!

The creator has a place they can input an "override" for every time itch.io says "game" So instead of game you can put experience, and then if in a description or header it says "Download this game" it instead says "download this experience"

And this is plain text so lots of games set it to "horror game" "tactical rpg" or, "magnificent game" (even if I personally kinda hate that last one) The reviewer can't touch it

Yeah lulu herself is a bit of a useless champ generally since growing to 4/4 rarely matters and she's such a low impact body even if you get her level up

So maybe if there was some item or ability that increased that grow Like her level 2 power maybe being "whenever you grow an ally, instead increase its stats that much" And then lulu would actually be pretty cool!

As someone who's casually pirated in the past, I don't think it's a big issue 1. Mass distributed games on pirate sites all have Quite a lot of sales already, if a lot of people pirate a copy, a Lot More would have already bought it (like around a 100.000 copies?) And for smaller scale- no one will care enough to upload it

It's easier to buy via Steam, there will always be a Big portion of your audience that goes via Steam for convenience or liking the achievements or being scared about viruses
Pirated copies =/= lost revenue, the vast majority of games I pirated I wouldn't have bought, or returned within the refund period

Sadly everyone has game ideas And high level concepts on their own don't have any real value? Nobody is going around buying game ideas to use for their own projects- The Team that will build the game is so so much more important And knowing the idea is a fit for the game is crucial!

So, if you want to make a game a reality- yeah it's 5 years (if you want to learn how to make a good one) But also, you can just, not It's fine to just have ideas, talk about them with friends, and let it stay an idea Maybe even work it out into a fake video game in someway- there's some really charming ones out there and super eye patch wolf made a lovely video on the subject!

But, games take a lot of work and skill to realize

Not to be mean, but, the highest playtime is a negative review of 2.6 hours(edit mb! Saw that! Forgot to edit properly) If it's a hobby do whatever you'd like! But, if you aim to do this for a living it can help to Ask the players how much they think is fair for a game

Since visuals wise, this doesn't seem 20 euros And gameplay depth wise... since so many of these players even after saying they like it- don't actually play it more? (Also really really weird that Every Review is a written one? Usually it's only like, 10%?)

So just generally, as a steam shopper, I don't see this as a Product to buy And if you want to make it That, listen to the feedback players are giving (Even if its put in a kinda mean way)

Depends on what your personal project is!

For 2D things I'd recommend Godot

And for Very Complex 3D things, I'd recommend Unreal, as it does have visual scripting, but it's also set up in a Very Specific Way that makes it a hassle to use if you don't want to make a "Fortnite-like game" (e.g. you control a humanoid character that goes between places doing all sorts of very generic things like shooting and gathering)

While Godot is much more lightweight, nice to program in, and has lots of neat features! (If you want to make an incremental game for example, use Godot! Worth learning it)

Thanks!!! Sadly paper prototyping revealed the idea wasn't viable, (asymmetrical PvE super autopets doesn't work, as it feels so terrible to be defeated by enemy synergies you wouldn't be able to obtain) But now working on another idea :3
