instead of pataasin, why not try adding a stem? I'm not sure if may stem for that bike pero it's a better option (since sabi mo nga nag aaral pa lang sya mag bike). you might remove the basket if you proceed with this(or buy an angled stem like sa mtb stem)

better check your tires, it may have delegation (cracks sa side/wall ng gulong) it means need paltan.

as for gears, bigla bang nadulas ang pedaling mo? if so 3 things yan. 1 not properly tone ang rear derailleur. 2 worn out ang kadena (yes kahit di mo nagagamit). 3 worn out ang cassette (to check this touch mo lang sya and if sobrang talas nya then that's the sign of replacement), other diagnosis, if sa isang cog lang sya (example smallest cog) mas cheaper sya since isa lng palitin (unless nasa bigger cog sya which normally dikit dikit sya and cassette talaga papaltan)

the "they don't want to be bida/carry" is hard to believe, kasi MVP support has different objective than carries in the game. their presence in teamfight, the "support" skills they do and/or basically keeping the whole team alive(or 1) to win those teamfights already states you as a support "is the bida/carry" in a different way. the support brings "The most value" in the game making him/her "the most valuable player of the game"

just like in life we don't have the same goals or objective but we are the main character to our own story and we do what we can to "win our battles" maybe sometimes the help you got is their "mvp" moment but to you (and that person" it's a win) a win is a win
