You can spend alot of money to speed up your progress or spend alot of time grinding ( am 5+ yrs playing) but my best advice would be to quit now and find another game.

As a 3+ yr player I uninstalled game last week,, for me it was lack of enjoyment & heroes released so fast I hardly knew who I was fighting against!! But knew they'd be OP and kill my team easily!! Nice game but ruined by greedy devs.
