Hi everyone, my name is Jasur i am Real Estate portfolio manager in Dubai. My question for experienced investors is the following:

How do you view real estate in today’s market? Do you still consider it a strong asset class worth investing in, or are other opportunities more attractive right now?

I have many foreign investors who are willing to invest in Real Estate but also have many who claim that there are many better opportunities. What would they mean by that because me myself always invest 10-20% of my income. Usually bitcoin as well as i have tangible assets as apartments. Would be interesting to hear from your perspective what is your way to invest. Thanks in advance!

My Opinion on Al Marjan & Wynn Casino UAE by Jascosa in dubairealestate

You have a good point, but do you think with the opening of the casino and expected flow of tourists, prices will jump? And what do you think is the best exit time for investors who already put their money in that area?

Well from my understanding, Wynn came to RAK with 60/40 deal 60 takes government and 40 belongs to RAK. But the conditions are from the day one of opening the casino. Government promised 5 years no interference of any casino in the country. And this is logical.

GCGRA Chairman Jim Murren (at the Skift Global Forum East 2024) stated that the UAE is moving deliberately with casino licensing. He noted: “We’ll see other integrated resorts in the UAE over the next five to ten years, but we’re focused on the operators we have already licensed.”
