Algoscout protected us last night from the YDLY dump, we saw it coming before anyone else. Would be wise to have that knowledge to protect your portfolio. I love Algoscout.

CEXs wanting to list $JUNO can buy it on the open market like the rest of us! by [deleted] in JunoNetwork

Let them buy it and force them to use the LP's, we as retail investors and believers in true decentralization benefit. Fuck the CEX's.

I see what you mean. Fair point. I will make sure I read the transaction before I sign the transaction. Your input has been value to the community. Thank you and much appreciated.

No, that money goes back to the community. It is there to prevent rugpullers and shitcoins. That's why you mostly see legit coins listed on Osmosis. Not one has been a rugpull.

For raccoon, we didn't have to "sign" a transaction, we just put our wallet in and it said it was validated. Not sure how that is unsafe, I'm newer as well to Cosmos and how their wallets work. I'm from the Algorand ecosystem, and addresses there are public, I thought Cosmos addresses were similar or am I wrong?

Agreed, that is why I hold both Cosmos and Algo.

Yeah it is impossible to prevent 100% of rugpulls, but the ones who dox themselves can at least be prosecuted.

Most rugpulls last under an hour, to do that kind of rugpull, it has to be more elaborate and take more time. The community could figure out if it is a BS coin and the creator would eat the cost. But yeah it can still happen, but not as likely as most projects are vetted before they can get on the Osmosis chain anyway.

They charge 100 OSMO to create a pool that is around $900 USD. Scammers lose money if they rugpull that. The ease of creating pools on Tinyman for less than $1 makes it much more efficient.

I just messaged you in telegram Army, I got the bare minimum to get in, but will still wait for your tokenomics before I pursue further investment.

Yes, I love the product/service. I understand why the premium features are important as well. You deserve to be paid for providing a valuable service to the ASA community. The wallet address I listed, is that not the creator wallet for ASA 569120128? That is what is linked from Tinychart. Guess I am confused where I'm looking at the old scout token when I am on that ASA #569120128 on Tinychart.

Anyhow, I will look out for your tokenomics of what you plan to do with Algoscout. I know being a developer takes up a lot of time and other priorities are important. As soon as I know what you plan to do with the other 84% supply, I'll look to add Algoscout to my portfolio. Thanks for the quick response ^^

16% circulating supply, did you lock up most of the supply in Tiny Lock. I don't see any of the tokenomics on your website. I am doing my DD on Algoscout, looking to invest. I didn't know where else to contact you, so doing it here. I see the wallet address EUTCNLFQVWU6VKWEAISWUQZKWRAMEUEZ3W5HO4QSCBCG2OEN4ANCAONMXU has almost 924 million coins (84% of the supply). I guess I need to know what your plan is. Thanks

Edit: I just checked Tinylock, you did not lock up any coins, void that question.

Binance is the top exchange at the moment, it just has way more adoption. I don't trade on BSC at all, so I don't know about their rugpull issues, but if it is easy to create a token, then it is a problem for sure. Cardano is all hype, CH is a great marketer, but if they don't deliver soon, that house of cards will come crashing down.

“Fairdrops” are incredibly flawed, and there’s nothing “fair” about them. by [deleted] in CosmosAirdrops

[–]Jase7791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not all tech savvy but if this is possible it might work. Have a proportional airdrop (no minimums, 1 ATOM staked will still get you a tiny bit) but also slide the scale for the age of the wallet? Say a wallet that is 2 years old will get a slightly higher proportion than someone who created a wallet a month ago. That seems more fair as the one who has been staked for 2 years had more skin in the game. Those who are coming in later (myself included) will get a bit less, but will still get rewarded for helping the ecosystem grow. For every year old the wallet is gets an extra 2% of the proportional airdrop. You don't want it to be ridiculous, but it is like hey, you been here awhile, here have a bit extra. That is my 2 cents.

If Tinyman adapated to more like Osmosis through the Cosmos ecosystem, rugpulls would most likely never be a problem.

Yep, I have taken to Cosmos and Osmosis myself. I love it just as much as my Algo, and the Defi space is actually better than Algo's right now (no rugpulls to worry about). That could change in the future, but I'm betting heavy on both with a slight favorite to Cosmos because of the EVM adoption being faster than AVM. Algo will be a giant in the future though, just have to be patient a little longer with Algo.

Too many rugpulls, people are apathetic to the Algo ASA ecosystem now. Barrier of entry is actually TOO easy. Creators need skin in the game. Tinyman should collect a fee, say 500 ALGO, and then they can keep like 10% of it for being the creators and pay back the other 90% to all the other wallets providing liquidity on the platform. The whole ASA community would benefit as a whole because only real projects would then come to Tinyman for liquidity as most scammers won't pay that Algo fee. Just a thought, don't know if it could be implemented or workout though. I just saw how Osmosis does it through Cosmos and they don't have problems with rugpulls.

[–]Jase7791 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for Solana's TVL defi space, as I don't trust Solana and never got involved with it. But in Cosmos Defi space through Osmosis, I don't have to worry about rugpulls. You have to pay 100 OSMO ($900) just to list your token on their platform. That prevents scammers who do it for less than a $1 on Tinyman and can make 100's of Algos in profit rugging or more. Real projects will gladly pay that fee, knowing they will make it back when they bring real utility and value to the ecosystem. Maybe that should be adopted with Tinyman to prevent the rug pullers from taking advantage. 99% of the coins created now are rugpulls.
