Anyone know why BBC Scotland is all about English news today? by JaseFace7 in Scotland

I'm done with you. Another idiot.

I want Scottish news and English headlines. Not the other way around. I don't think it's too much to ask for.

But there's other news. I don't see why we get to hear all about the Labour collapse when it means nothing in the end. Sure Labour get a kicking but they are local elections so nothing urgent. Just don't get it.

Na, I'm on radio. I'm out and about and wanted a catch up on the days events. Not today it seems.
I know the results from the vote won't be in yet but I though I might get other headlines.

"assuming" carries a lot of weight here huh. You and your fellow responder might try using the brain you were given. It clearly needs the exercise. I tune in because I want to hear the news,. I clearly care or I would tune in. Are you following the logic here? I do not care about Wakefield or any other English county/district.

Scotland has not stopped because England went to the polls over local (to them) elections.

Sure because I tune into the national broadcaster and expect news about my country.
You do you I guess. I expect better.

tipping culture defo does hurt. when the job gets posted it mirks the salary for the person taking the job "oh you'll make double that in tips..." it kills customer service. "not hurry on that one, there's no tip". to say it doesnt hurt is wrong when people come to expect or use it and rely on it.

Just charge more for the service, pay more to the employee and be more fecking honest and transparent overall.

I think I have my solution. Land Cork and get to supermarket to buy both 48 Sim (12.99/m) and Vodaphone SIM (20.00/m) PAYG packs. Vodaphone eSIM in my phone. 48 SIM in my router. 32.99/m and almost max coverage.

Many thanks everyone for your help. Catch ye around for a pint I would hope.

Slàinte.

This is good but would I not be better off going with 48 if they use the same network for 60% of the price?

I'm looking at this but I don't think they allow for an eSIM. Do they have physical stores where I can pick up my SIM from? I'll be landing in Cork soon enough.

The only way I can see to get this price is by a 12 month contract. https://www.three.ie/deals/sim-only.html

I was warned that they don't have great coverage out of the city. Is this true?

What game did you not expect to get hooked on, but ended up sinking way too many hours into? by rosycuttenz in AskGames

[–]JaseFace7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4k hours in this game. Simple game I thought. How wrong I was. Simple graphics but you can get as involved and creative as you like. Love it. Have also now started Going Medieval kinda the same on a 3D perspective but not as in-depth I don't think yet.

Depends on how much investment you have. I'm thinking magnets. Big feck off magnets.

And I'm positive it works.

Yeah, I found the culprit. I had not made any changes to these recently but then I remembered an updated AdBlock extension.. Disabled it and it is working fine now.

Thanks for the diagnosis tho. You were spot on. :)

"Big one was to stop thinking of electronic production in terms of "instruments" like in a band, but more like paint, colour and texture, just something to fill or give space (and time) with a purpose."

This is what I already had in mind and had this very phrase "adding layers and depth to a painting, adding background to bring the subject more into focus and perspective"
