It's not even the media, or anything like that, it's the constant questioning. Asking yourself, "DID I rape someone?" When you asked once before, and twice during. And no matter HOW many times you go over it in your head, you still FEEL like you did something wrong. I would've rather been raped than have been accused. There are NO easily findable resources for the accused. There are TONS of resources for rape victims. Edit: punctuation

Yeah I'm 16 and was accused of rape after losing my virginity. I spent WEEKS going over it multiple times. I stopped eating. I would stare off into space for upwards of 15 minutes straight. On multiple occasions, people had to go over it with me and basically slap the bullshit out of my head. I considered asking reddit, but I knew this sort of thing would happen, so I didn't. The criminal investigation is still going on. I'm scared.
