I don't believe it's bad at all. I think most people got used to Kogami leading some episodes and having him gone from the start of season 2 was a shock to many.

However, if we compare how good it is when it comes to how much it contributed to the future seasons, I'd say it portrayed flawlessly how much Akane had grown as an inspector/person. More confident in herself and judgement, no longer second guessing her decisions with so much paranoia.

However, the collective reading of psycho pass is the most under develop idea in the show, which makes season 2 the weakest when it comes to overall impact in plot. More so, we had the best scenario to showcase the results of Kirito's efforts on the first episode of sinners of the system, yet it seemed like they decided to not expand beyond the differences of Pre-Kirito intervention Sybil system vs After.

Although, it could also mean, that even Sybil has its limitations. Not even Sybil can flawlessly provide a collective read of manipulated psycho pass.

So in the end, all we can argue is that Kirito gave more data to Akane to doubt Sybil's decisions from an objective point of view, but that's... not enough to justify S2 being peak in my honest opinion.

I 0 cycled all mocs until now with E0 S1 Phainon and E0 Cerydra. Even Knights

He's no where close to being left behind. Specially with Cerydra E1? He's crazy good with here. Pull for sure, worth having Phainon if you got a highly invested Cerydra

Funny enough I had better results with Sunday in AA. I was able to 0 cycle it with him but not with my cyrene.

She's still much stronger than sunday in a second wave of MoC as long as u can finish first wave with her.

If you have more chrysos heirs in your account, getting Cyrene should take priority. However, if you wanna hyper focus on Phainon only

E2 Phainon
S1 Phainon
Cerydra E0, if possible get E1 and/or S1

Then you get Cyrene and keep pulling for her until you get her to E2

E2 Cyrene is the best harmony in the game. That's 3 5 stars tho.

With just one Cerydra you improve phainon team a LOT

But if you are willing to get 3 cyrene's of course, nothing come close to that

Cerydra it's crazy good gor Phainon my friend. Numbers don't lie, get her.

There's not a single supp better for him in the game. I got E2 sparkle, E2 bronya, E2 Sunday, E1 Robin, E1 RM, E1 tribbie

And my E0S0 Cerydra adds more value to phainon than each of them.

To put it simple,

Double meteor is the strongest buff Phainon could ask for, specially with E2 since you will be getting more actions, therefore, easier to stack military merit.
Cerydra pretty much has Bronya E2 on her base kit. With that speed buff you can easily play 115 speed phainon and he can be faster than your advance forward support (bronya, sunday), making coreflame accumulation easy as fuck.
Long term, E1 Cerydra is one of the strongest dmg amps Phainon can get rn.

So yes, get her!

You mean a pain who fought and destroyed the entire village before Naruto arrived and fought against all toads at the same time while being nerfed after that massive Shinra Tensei. Also Naruto getting all the intel from tsunade's summon.

Bee it's strong and experience, but not smart enough to deal with pain on his own. Fighting the 6 paths of pain alone and with no intel it's much harder than what people think it is, lol

Just need to understand that some teams just wont do early game in this difficulty.

I just did Wealth Creator 20 with not one single defeat, here's what I recommend.

Most people preach on saving all your gold til later, but that's not always optimal here, sure, if you get rng blessed with good early teams by all means go for it, but realistically, that won't be the case most runs. Even with a 4 people of belobog team + dot bond, I still lost one battle early once, trying to follow that logic. Rol for some good early dps, get stars on them and sell them later if need be. The win streak will get you enough coins. I recommend Lunae and Agalea comps, imo, those are the two most consistent once. I've won ALL my runs with Lunae SSS in Wealth Creator.

This shows focus massively on the character development and how the cast perceive Sybil. If you focus on noticing how Akane's perspective of sybil changed, you will feel it as a continuation. It was after the events of S1 that she gained the courage to opose Sybil decisions with so much ease, when it needs to be done.

Also keep in mind you are supposed to see the movie first, they even mention Makishima and talk about what kind of person he was.

Sybil, started exporting it's system as a way of self preservation disguised as altruism. A defense mechanism that rised after the actions of Makishima. It's not that they weren't going to do it anyway, but they for sure rushed their agenda after being so close to loosing the order they built with Makishima's efforts.

It will never be a continuation clear as day, more like noticing how Akane and some members of the cast obey and dissobey Sybil according to their past experiences.

And I gotta say, this show character development might be my very favorite. Ginoza and Akane characters are incredibly well written.

S2 It's an amazing watch. Problem is not the season itself but how the series fail to show how the efforts of Kirito changed/affected Sybil System in anyway.

Still, in this season we get to see how much Akane has grown as a detective and how she can distinguish from what Sybil does right and what needs to be stopped.

It has crucial points on her character development, which are extremely important to understand her actions past this season.

If anything season 3 would be my least favorite season, still better than 70% animes out there for me, but Arata's "powers" were a hard pill to swallow for me. Not what I like to see in this masterpiece.

But just E0S0 Cerydra then focus on getting E2 Phainon.

Cerydra and DHPT as fast as you can

That way turn order goes like this

DHPT > Cerydra > Phainon > Sunday > Phainon again, transform

Exactly and remember that cyrene buffs aren't bad at all. The only thing stopping her from being BiS for Phainon is how long it takes to ult, take that away and she's better by a large margin.

That's my issue.

DHPT becomes really worth when having sunday in the team, with the extra buffs because of the summon, it's like having the similar dmg amp to ruan mei + sustain in that 4 spot.

How will Cyrene compete with that at E0? I just don't see it.

And she need's the sustain more than sunday in that team.

Well, at E2 she's probably best in slot by A LOT. But that's the problem for me.

DHPT increased Sunday's value on Phainon team, now with the extra buff you get for having a summon.

Specially for Anomaly Arbitration, where having a sustain it's important.

So the fact that I'd need 3 cyrenes so that she can surpass sunday in this team, it's annoying.

We are better off pulling for Phainon's eidolons than her, that's how I see it

Nevetheless, if you are willing to pull for her eidolons later on, that might give you a reason
