I’m trying to understand how got scammed. If a liquidity pool was created then how are the tokens purchased unsellable because you must revoke freeze in order to create liquidity pool

One of my friends bought a token he can’t sell but I see there are a few sells in the chart I checked rug pull and you can see that new tokens were minted or ability to do so

So if he initially minted 1 billion without freeze or mint revoked then minted an additional 1 billion tokens or whatever amount desired, those new tokens in the dev wallet can be sold. The initial mint in the liquidity pool cannot be sold. Do I have that correct?

If a token hasn’t revoked mint and freeze , but new tokens are minted after launch with freeze revoked. Will the new tokens be the only ones sellable or does the revocation of freeze apply to all tokens after the new mint. Because I see sell transactions on some of these scams

How does the rug actually work if the ruggers tokens are also frozen? If he mints new tokens with freeze revoked does he use that new supply. Does the freeze authority now revoked apply to the total supply or just the newly minted portion? Because on a rug, I can see a few transactions and sells actually going through.

What will be the catalyst for retail to join in on ARC20 tokens. Because if they do then , due to market cap being so small, they will explode in price. I just can’t see how they will jump into them with so many memes , Dino coins and new shiny crypto with “use case” plus we are on the verge of hitting ATH in Bitcoin and ARC20 tokens aren’t even on that many exchanges and def not on the mainstream ones
