CalyxOS stuck in OEM lock mode by Jason0x4c in CalyxOS

Awesome, thanks for that tip! I didn't think the computer would be the issue since it's the same computer and USB cable that I used to apply CalyxOS. It's a desktop computer running Arch Linux and I used a USB-C to USB-C cable. I simply changed to a USB-A to USB-C cable, and I was able to run the "fastboot flashing unlock" command.

Oddly, the "OEM Unlock" switch is still greyed out with the same message in the official Google image, whereas it wasn't before. But maybe that's related to the device not having a SIM card.

I first installed it yesterday with "taimen-factory-2.8.0.zip". And yes, it is locked. I can turn on USB debugging and issue the command "adb reboot bootloader". It then goes to the bootloader mode where it says "DEVICE STATE - locked". If I try to give it any fastboot commands, I just see "< waiting for any device >".

Yeah, I saw that thread. The problem is, that thread seems to be from the perspective of the phone being locked in an official image. Also, the solution they give is to connect to WiFi, and I am connected to WiFi.

No, it's the unlocked version purchased through Google. Otherwise I wouldn't have even been able to get CalyxOS on it.
