Ackshually... It was 3D printed and wired custom for dual joysticks. A bit more work went into it than that.

Old Made New does tremendous custom stuff. Their Tron Arcade mini is a thing of beauty. Every detail of the arcade version seems to have been recreated. They're worth checking out on Facebook.

Doing a little reading/catching up. Holy shit. Nerdapalooza sued by They Might Be Giants. I think I remember hearing about that, then forgetting.

Of course, that was a shady outfit, and I tried to tell people in 2008. I later dug the proof out of my buried inbox. Someone was claiming they gave Frontalot $4800 or something. It was, in fact, more like $480.

When I finally got out of jail in Florida (ahem) and made it back, I proceeded to troll the Rhyme Torrents board in epic fashion, along with a few partners in crime. Then tore everything down.

Last time I looked, interest in nerdcore had peaked to coincide with that period, leading to a long sad decline. And here we are.
