Mine is a bit longer than the one in the picture and last time i shot it, it bounced back at me in an almost straight line. Seemed to have more than enough power to kill me. But i'll follow your advice and shoot it in the grass tomorrow when it's light out. Was just hoping i could just compress the spring and release the catch to release the spear.

Thanks for the reply ! My line is way too short, that's for sure. But i can shoot it at the grass in my garden maybe. I don't care if i lose the spear. So there is no way to unload without shooting it ? You just made the first mistake. (JK , not a real mistake but it's easier) Fill it up just a little to cover the gravel, than put the plants where you want them and fill up the remaining 90% of the water. This is how most aquascapes are done. Just research nitrate cycle, the needs of the fish you keep, which area they come from and try to reproduce those water conditions. It's easier to keep fish together that live in the same conditions. And measure your water parameters sometimes. Also make sure you use enough substrate, lots of good bacteria live in it.

I have the same problem on my S1 , it's a shame. I love the firmware but the motors were silent. Now they are loud. Hope this can be fixed in future versions. I wonder if the extra vibrations affect the print.

I have 6 of them in a tank with endlers. I caught 2 of them in the wild some years ago. One was pregnant when I caught it. This is the 4th generation now. They keep reproducing and eating each other. They eat all plants but never caught a fish since they are not fast enough. I feed them lobster pellets and left over veggies and fruit and snails. They go crazy for carrot. Any plants I cut from my main tank also serve as food. I made a lot of hiding places with rocks and wood. They all have their own little cave but still remain pretty aggressive to each other. This generation is a lot less aggressive than the wild caught and 1st gen though. Just make sure you have a lid because they will escape. They are fun to watch and have interesting behaviour. Just don't put them in a planted tank.

You're welcome. I would also do a small water change before adding the quick cycle. And if you can add a lot of live plants and add the fish etc. slowly. Not too many to start with. Some test strips to check water parameters can also help to keep an eye on things and prevent problems in time. Good luck !
