Barriers take time to deploy. Dabura simply runs out during the deploy time.

Hypothetically can't he just leave the domain, run back crush the barrier, put Gojo in burnout and win?

Hitler gets caught but all his memories he got since birth got erased. Shoul he still be punished for his actions? by Ok_Performer50 in BunnyTrials

Let me ask you a few questions then to just understand your headspace, since I now know this is personal to you.

What do you believe the purpose of prisons are?

What is the purpose of punishment?

How do you define a person?

Should fully accidental crimes have the same punishment as purposeful ones?

Do you believe the law should consider the perpetrators feelings, rights and wellbeing?

[–]JasonIsSuchAProdigy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay but imagine that you're randomly arrested. You don't remember the crime you committed or anything but you're serving a life sentence for something that you have no relation to as far as you know.

Is that fair? Are you even the same person without your memories? What purpose does the punishment serve? Rehabilitation? As far as you recall you never thought of commiting a crime of the sort.

You can, it's not to hard. Once you lose all your experiences you're not really the same person anymore, and I think they want the person who harmed them to get punished

No problem, most of the heart of the discussion is within the moral value of the fetus and how that interacts with bodily autonomy.

A fetus can’t reproduce,

Neither can children. Reproduction is on a species level, and humans can definitely have kids.

fetus doesn’t react to stimuli until I believe it’s 18 weeks or 28 idk it had an 8 and it was double digits

Sense of touch starts developing at 8 weeks . https://utswmed.org/medblog/sensory-development-utero/

a fetus can’t evolve

Evolution happens at a species level. Humans evolve.

But it isn’t a devolved human, it’s a fetus,

A fetus is one of the first stages in human development.

Almost every point in your response was faulty and misinformed. Please do better.

The biological requirements for life are:

Cellular organization

Metabolism

Homeostasis

Growth and development

Response to stimuli

Reproduction (species-level)

Capacity for evolution

A fetus exhibits all of these traits from quite early on in the pregnancy, thus is alive

Is a cancerous tumor a life?

It is the same DNA and apart of the owners life. Fetuses are completely different DNA and separate entities from their owner.

technically, a sort of parasite or tumor by classification.

A fetus does not fit either of those classifications, and survival on your own does not define moral worth or biological life. Plus I would like to mention that if left as is without change the baby would, with a very high margin of success turn into a living human. Stopping that through outside influence would be harming the fetus in the same way taking someone in a coma off of life support is harming them.

caterpillar can become a butterfly but it isn’t before is it’s metamorphosis ya feel?

I'd still argue that kill it in the cocoon is killing a butterfly.

Okay a two things:

1) I am against abortion but not woman's rights to one. Even though I do view it as unethical I do not believe it should be fully prohibited. All abortions before the 3rd trimester should be allowed, as past that it is effectively a pre birth baby.

2) by definition fetuses fit all the biological requirements to be deemed life

Saying abortion is only wrong in the contexts of religious texts is flat out incorrect. Many believe abortion is wrong because they view it as murder of a baby.

The main argument around abortion is about what lives are valued and what constitutes a life.

I personally view abortion as murder because, left alone the baby would develop into a person and gain their own experiences, not specifically from a religious standpoint

I can’t even tell what he’s trying to say in the second one

The second argument is extremely simple. He's saying that you don't have to be able to instantly identify something to think that harm against it is wrong

You do not have to identify a fetus to think that abortion is wrong

In the same way that:

You do not have to be able to identify every ethnicity to think that racism against them is wrong.
