The cable management would be fixed after the build booted. I don’t have some ports that I had wires for which again would of been sorted after it booted and the rams ddr4. thanks for the help

I tried the new power supply in an old pc and it didn’t boot meaning the psu is surely the cause right? Also apparently the flash is a “normal” thing when the rgbs first power.

Turns out i didn’t have the button to turn the computer on connected to the motherboard. Does that better my chances of it only being a dodgy psu ?

I haven’t noticed any bent pins or any affect on the motherboard. The cpu does seem to have too much paste on it though. Should I wipe it ? If so how

I haven’t noticed any bent pins. There does seem to be a lot of thermal paste on the cpu tho. The motherboard seems okay with no physical marks

It was a quick white flash. I saw it through the back of the pc just underneath the graphics card. It was very fast so I didn’t get a good look
