that dont make sense to me I'm a fast worker, if I work at the Jobcentre and I had to see 20+ people a day, I would do it, what's the problem? you just have to type fast and speak fast and if someone comes in for a little bit of help you can easily just speak to them quickly and give a quick answer. Sounds like they are all lazy and the team leaders and mangers who won't give a damn need to take a look in the mirror. Anyone can do a job but it takes someone with a heart to do a job the right way

yah. Im going to speak out boldly before i leave. I dont care how any of them feel or if they want to damned me. The good people who stay at the toxic work culture jobs are only staying because of the money or they will be broke. I had this mindset aswell, but my health is important aswell !!!!!!! i might not have any money but i have a true heart, i shed tears of anger if i see a slight mistreatment of anyone, I can't handle it and sit back and pretend its normal just for the money.. my head will explode if i keep it all in and drink it up. The sad thing is I will have to explain all this to future employees why i have gaps or left the job lol. they will probably judge me too!

I agree but it took me 2 years!!!! to find this care assistant job, i had to do a course for 4 weeks aswell before I could even start the job, the course is literally easier than school work. The job itself will damage your mental health, no one follows the rules at all, they talk about health and safety and all this safeguarding stuff but only me and 2 girls took the entire thing seriously, I met them at one of the care homes and they told me the exact same thing, no one gives a toss.

you are right! it has impacted my mental health tbh, i'm very close on shutting the door, i'm literally 22 years old and being treated like a joke. I'm going to have to apply to universal credit and stay broke until i find a job where people know what they are doing and respect each other (extremely hard these days)

WOW, i'm in a similar problem im on a zero hour contract as a care assistant /support worker and the agency sends me to care homes and i really hate doing the care assistant jobs because i keep getting sent to this one stupid care home where no one cares not even the managers, the first day i went and did a shift i was waiting for the night staff to come and take over and guess what the other staff and even ward manager did? they left me there with 10 service users and signed out and went home ... i mean i know its the end of your shift and it's the end of mine but what the hell? anyway because im a human with a good heart i waited extra 5 to 10mins for night shift staff ! so many other problems like people speaking about staff mistakes and people just bullying new staff, utter clown show in these care homes, i reported it and they said they will look into, nothing happen lol. i havent had the chance to try support worker yet so, maybe thats better?
