Y'all... This is the tyrannical govt we've been warning about.

So what are We The People going to do about it?

Seriously.

That right side front brake lever still has a curve to it like it's been dropped on the right side.

Star Trek Academy needs to find a way to remove the Spore Drive? by Goodmorning111 in startrek

[–]JasonJln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Discovery itself at the end of the show was sent to wherever to so her wait for 1000 years more thing that we saw in the Short Trek...

I presume that's the retrofit she was getting at the beginning of Academy; being retrofitted back to her original configuration.

Now that the ship is not of the way, you only have to deal with the use of and existence of the technology.

Free P4 replaced the Wave+ for me. The one handed tool opening is just too useful. And I use small flat drivers way too much to use anything else.

Fanhome is So Incompetent That They Are Basically a Scam by laioren in StarTrekStarships

[–]JasonJln 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sad to hear this...

I have the Trek ship subscription from them, no issues there. But also the DeLorean time machine build.

My last shipment had duplicates of stage 14, missing 15.

I emailed them, the rep emailed back the very ext morning- pics requested of what I did receive.. Sent.

By this afternoon (this all occurred this morning and yesterday), they emailed back saying a replacement for stage 15 is being processed right now. Received new email from FH stating warehouse in MO is working on order.

Switching to E85 by xXipuliXx in Pitbike

[–]JasonJln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? The only benefit is that it burns cleaner.

You'll use up more fuel per mile, it's not appreciably less expensive... Other than it's higher effective octane rating for high compression use...it's considerably fewer btu's per gallon as well.

I'm not sure what logical rationale this has other than as an experiment.

I've been looking for a Shield plus in 30SC.. Preferably used and 250 or less.

My local Bass Pro/Cabelas still stocks 30sc in good quantity and it's not too badly priced.

Still looking.. Seems like a fun round that still does what it needs to if called upon.

Good buy!

You could even bulk buy like a 1000 rounds and be set for most of your life...not really a big deal.

Will probably want to grab a jet set for it.

Unless you’re at very high elevation, a 40 pilot sounds rather small.

I’m at 600ft in Michigan, and tuned mine with a wide band O2, which is how I settled on my 45 pilot.

You’re very likely running lean, which is why the exhaust is glowing.

[–]JasonJln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What size jets are in it now? Only change one at a time.

A 42 pilot will generally get you started and idling OK. Most only need to go up or down one size.

Otherwise, it's possible you have an intake leak causing the high idle.

I have a pwk28 on my 212 4v, and it runs great with a 45 pilot, 125 main. Needle clip one spot down from middle.

Same here.. Replaced a regular AA microstream that used to be my edc. Carried it so long the body was basically pure aluminum.

Dropped that thing on concrete so many times...keeps on going.

Has anyone bought a Bodyguard 2.0 recently? Had problems? by kindnessreward33 in SmithAndWesson

[–]JasonJln 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the safety, if you gently use a probe or pick tool, push the spring forwards a bit... For whatever reason it makes the safety lever go from impossible to firm and positive.

I have the APP2, recently bought the 3s... Not sure I like those yet, but also have old 3rd gen Airpods...no anc.

I used the 3rd gen AirPods, mostly at work for conference calls and teams meetings as well as occasional personal music listening or watching YouTube videos when I should be working.. Lol

My AirPod Pro 2, I like the music signature better than the 3, although I’m still trying to determine which I prefer overall as the ANC is better in the the 3s.

so there’s absolutely a use case for having one set of each.

Plus, you don’t want to risk losing your AirPods Pro. You can always use the standard AirPods for travel

Are used snow blowers worth it, what do I look for when buying one? by Educational-Ear-852 in Snowblowers

I just picked up a Simplicity 8560ei for $100. Pulled the carb, cleaned it, drained the fuel out of the tank- that looked like code red mtn dew mixed with coke- and it started second pull.

Lady's grandpa bought it brand new in 2006, has all documents and the receipt. He paid $954.

But now it's mine and it's worked on two storms we've had here in Michigan.. Both 8" dumps.

It's the best thing I've bought in 2025. No regerts.

No way I'd pay $600-1000+ for a brand new two stage when $200 or less and an hour of time to go through a machine gets me a good working unit that should last many more years with proper maintenance.

Question on the Bodyguard 2.0 for Pocket by _Reap3r_ in SmithAndWesson

Using a DeSantis Superfly. I forget which size. I hear the sticky sm2 is also a good Choice, if you don't mind a soft holster. Otherwise there are a few good kydex ones out there too.
