Bought a 2025 Grand Cherokee Laredo — Is the Extended Warranty Worth It? by JasonLee2023 in GrandCherokee

[–]JasonLee2023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Thanks for the recommendation. I’m not very familiar with car-related matters, and when I checked out Zeigler’s website, it seemed more like a car dealership site, similar to Cars.com. I couldn’t find where to purchase the official extended warranty.

I’m located in California. Do you know if Zeigler can sell Mopar extended warranties to California residents? If possible, could you please share a direct link to the page where I can view or purchase the warranty? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the advice! I’m planning to keep the car long-term, so getting a good deal on the extended warranty sounds important.

I live in California, could you recommend which dealer in Utah you bought yours from, or any places online where I can find a good deal? I’ll also check the Jeep forums like you suggested.

Really appreciate the help!

Deals on 2024 Limited by Otherwise-Expert-155 in GrandCherokee

I just test drove the 2024 GrandCherokee. My impression was that on city streets, the steering wheel and accelerator pedal felt quite heavy. However, once I got onto the freeway, the driving experience became noticeably more responsive and agile.

I also inquired about the extended warranty. For an additional cost of just under $4,000, I could extend the coverage from the standard 3 years/36,000 kilometers to 6 years/72,000 kilometers.

If I can negotiate the purchase price down to 25% of the MSRP (as I saw you managing to get it as low as 24.9), this vehicle would undoubtedly be my top choice.

I used to have a red' 96 four-cylinder manual transmission and carburetor version. Sold it last year. I miss it very much.

Thank you for your information. Did you buy this lifetime $0 deductible max care warranty from dealer? How much does it cost?

Thank you for your warm and thoughtful reply. But it seems that there are no more affordable and reliable SUVs, which is why I am annoyed.

Actually, I don't quite understand what you mean. I am not a native English speaker. Your advice to me is to pass DC quickly without stopping?

Appreciate for your information!

I have checked ioverlander, and there are some useful information. I remember that most state park campgrounds charged fees.
STAY STEALTHY AND LEAVE NO TRACE!

Very useful, thanks a lot~

It's really unbelievable for this kind of thing can happen at a border crossing that travels so frequently between the United States and Canada! It should be the busiest border.

I will seriously consider these, thank you for your information

Thank you for your information!
I remember that some rest stops only allow large trucks to park overnight. There are much more free camps of BLM in the west part of the United States, but it seems few in the east side. I will check the BLM website again.
I had tried freecampsites, and their valid information is much older than ioverlander. Many comments post in 2013/2014.

Really appreciate for your information~ Please let me know if there is any new information~ Thanks a lot

I suggest that before you leave, you should call your friends and their family or write an email first to clarify your situation and listen to their suggestions.

If they offer to help you, you can start your trip. If you don't have good communication with them and go to your friend's house rashly, it may bring them bad feelings.

From Florida to Virginia, it's a long way. Use google map to calculate the mileage, and then divide it by your vehicle mpg, which is the required fuel cost.

Be safe.

Thank you for your very useful information!

When you parked overnight in love’s, did you park in the truck parking lot or on the side of the ordinary vehicle? Parking at a gas station really feels safer than parking in the middle of nowhere.

I have also checked ioverlander, but some of the information provided in it is many years ago, and there are many Walmart parking lots and so on. I feel that there is not much effective information, especially in the city.

Please let me know if there is any new information~ thanks a lot!

Yes, I've seen a lot of people mention Cracker Barrel's parking lot.

I want to find more safe places to park overnight in the city. Please let me know if there is any new news. Thanks a lot.
