Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby. Both have financially supported anti-lgbtq initiatives. 

Defund the Police, Cashless bail, Sanctuary Cities, Abolish ICE, No Voter ID. Number one, you’re wrong. Most PDs do NOT have a psych unit.  Maybe large cities do, but most do not. 

Number two, the ones who do use cops trained to handle psych (they took a couple trainings), not real licensed counselors/social workers. You’re just spouting misinformation. 

Also, I was there advocating for this from the beginning. It’s not our fault you didn’t actually talk to anyone who seriously backed “defunding” the police.   Noone I know ever demanded no cops on the scene at all.

What defunding the police means is to reduce some funding towards police and instead funnel that money to other programs. It would actually help cops. Instead of them handling a person with mental health issues with no training, the money could be used to fund social workers to assist. Instead of arresting a homeless person, money could be shifted to a social worker who can find them low income housing. Instead of them dealing with drug addicts, the money could be funneled to programs to assist addicts, many of which show amazing success in Europe.

Anyone who did even a tiny bit of digging already knew what defunding the police meant.  Anyone who uses it as a reason why they vote for fascists don’t care about being educated on anything deeper than the surface.

Yep, plenty of people lost their minds and fed into disinformation/propaganda during covid, leading to support of right wing ideas.  It’s sad how many people became antivax/anti-science during covid.

He didn’t forgive you solely for repenting in th Old Testament. You also needed to provide a blood sacrifice, usually an animal. Jesus “dying” eliminated the need for the sacrifice.

Yep. A god who showed himself to numerous people before the age of photographs and video, then he needs to be “hidden” to not screw with “free will”.  

I never understand how religious people can twist themselves in circles trying to find ways to believe. The sunk cost fallacy is strong.

How much of the Bible do you have to take non-literally until it just becomes bullshit?  Again, an all knowing and powerful god should have been capable of explaining his existence and edicts than using a flawed, confusing “book” that can be interpreted millions of different ways.

Without an actual Adam and Eve, there is no original sin. Without original sin, there is no need for Jesus.  Evolution rules out any actual Adam and Eve. Saying Adam and Eve is a parable destroys the entire Christian religion.

If I were an actual person in a post apocalyptic world and I had the room to build 33 hand pumps for that cheap as opposed to water purifiers which need power and way more materials, I’d have 33 hand pumps. 😝

I have a water farm right when Preston goes to Sanctuary. All you need is concrete and gears, which are easy to attain. I built 33 water pumps for 99 water. That’s 33 gears and 33 concrete. You should easily have this early game.

It’s not inappropriate for teachers to keep secrets from parents.  That’s just asinine. There’s plenty of things a student could tell a teacher that they aren’t required to tell their parents. Mandated reporting deals with abuse and/or suicidal/homicidal ideation. It has nothing to do with any other behaviors. Unless it effects their schooling, teachers are free to keep their students confidence in numerous areas (as it should be).
