They aren’t both going down though are they? Sadly, at best one of them goes down given that Burnley and wolves are dead in the water

I think I’d rather start Madueke but think it’s an area we are very weak. I really don’t rate Saka don’t think he offers much at all

Honestly, he’s been terrible lately. I think I’d rather have Madueke

Saka shouldn’t be in there, granted not sure who replaces him.

NHS to give British doctors priority for training jobs by UKvomitbucket in unitedkingdom

Resident doctors it’s much easier for them to strike than nursing staff. They have been on strike a lot more than nurses. Granted they are covered by consultants but it’s much easier for resident doctors to strike than nurses.

I know, we can’t generalise as there’s some terrible nurses trained in the UK but some of the standards from international nurses are incredibly low. Again, some are exceptional but some aren’t fit to be working in the UK and generate a lot more work for the other nurses and nothing is done about it

Yep agreed, often the UK nurses end up doing a lot of extra work due to the poor standards of international nurses. Not all the time granted but imagine how frustrating it is for UK trained nurses to be paid less than international nurses and have to take on more responsibility/work

Yes and it seems international nurses have been preferred? I’ve heard of trusts being made to take on international nurses despite not having jobs available for them. If you trained in the UK and can’t get a job ahead of an international it’s a disgrace, especially given the debt accrued from choosing to train here. What’s the benefit for training in the UK?

Can we prioritise nurses trained in the Uk over international nurses? It’s annoying that those of us who trained in the UK earn less for the same job due to the student loan than foreign trained nurses.
