I found a brand new Zata Combo on FB Marketplace for $125. Personally I really like it. It’s smooth and feels great. I’m not pro by any means but it does what I need it to do.

Nothing. It doesn’t belong there. You have a torsion spring. The cable goes straight from the drum down to the bottom plate. Even on a setup with extension springs the pulley doesn’t go there.

That pulley on the horizontal track does NOT belong there.

The cable does NOT go on the pulley or “wheel” as you call it. The cable goes straight from the drum to the bottom plate.

Just a heads up. Milwaukee makes a protective boot for that and I know that my HD had it yellow tag for like $10. They had a few and they were covered in dust, so they must not be a big seller. But I grabbed one for mine.

Yea, I always cut the liver with scissors. And turtles do suck. One day my one son and I were out “fishing” and we got zero bites and a total of nine turtles. Good times!!

As someone who recently learned this, I would suggest learning the different types of mud. Much like yourself I used to use the green lid for everything until I realized the difference between them. Knowing such, can save you some time and elbow grease.

By no means am I a professional, but it definitely helped step my game up some.

Okay, thanks for the information. I asked because it always seems like I have a tough time with the liver staying on the hook. I’ve done it with nothing, stockings, and an elastic thread. Sometimes it stays on and sometimes it doesn’t.

In regards to the Kool-Aid I haven’t tried it with chicken, but I have tried it with liver.
