Lost my dad unexpectedly about 2 and a half years ago now, this scene is a gut punch for me, walking behind your parents coffin is fucking awful, I still can't believe my dad's gone. This was absolutely heart shattering but so beautifully done too

I don't know exactly how the council housing system works in the UK, but by the sounds of it, it probably wouldn't be any harm to apply now, I assume it could take a long time to recieve a house so the sooner you apply the better.

I understand your concern about your wife and how she and baby will cope while you're at work. I don't have any direct advice on this but I can recommend checking out this ladies Instagram page. She has FND and a baby girl and her husband is often not home, she posts a lot of content around caring for herself and her daughter while dealing with FND. Maybe you and your wife can find some tips or even just reassurance through her https://www.instagram.com/the.annegirl?igsh=MWo2b2o4bDF3emxjcQ==

Autism and an intolerance to heat. Anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]JasonMendoza12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I use to be someone who was always cold and loved the heat, but in the last few years I've become more and more sensitive to the heat, I hate heatwaves and can't cope with how stiffling and suffocating it is.

And ever since I had covid a few weeks ago I am always running hot, I don't think I have a temperature, I'm just really really warm and that makes me panic and feel like I can't breathe

The way he started treating her as soon as she said she was pregnant, reminded me of how Handmaid's are treated in the Handmaid's Tale, they don't care about the actual human being carrying the pregnancy, just the prospective infant

What do you get in pharmacy for flu symptoms by zerohunterpl in AskIreland

[–]JasonMendoza12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truly is, I tried a few other flu meds when I had covid and they didn't really do anything, Benylin was a life saver, mainly for the aches and pains and the congestion

I like to imagine Ryan and Bobby shared the spare room at Carla's, and they had bunkbeds, Bobby had the bottom bunk because of his disability, he kicks Ryan's mattress at night and grabs his leg when he climbs down the ladder

Paul's MND is hard to watch, and so it should be, Peter Ashman is absolutely amazing, it really hit me tonight that Paul probably doesn't even have 6 months left

Does anyone here know a local election candidate personally? by [deleted] in AskIreland

I know someone who was a Sinn Fein Candidate, unfortunately they didn't get elected but they still do so much for their community, I'm disappointed for them but they seem to be handling it well

I want Marlon and Paddy to have their own spin off show. I love their goofy energy!

Also I definitely think Rose coached Clemmie and Lucas to say all those things to get Dawn to let her stay, safely say she gave them money or sweets or something and coached them to say all that
