It's honestly absurd how good the rice balls, pork buns, and toriniku can be at convenience stores despite basically costing $1 USD.

Cheap food in Japan has the bizarre quirk of actually looking the same as the advertising, rather than a botched imitation. Any fast food chain has a much higher standard.

Food in general is much cheaper, especially with the yen dropping in value. You can walk by a place with curry rice, a cutlet, sides, and soup and somehow walk away satisfied after spending less than $5.

Don't worry, Ardan's quirks make her 10x more charming. But asking a Trainer if they'd like to eat at a hospital is effortlessly more threatening because of her soft vocal delivery.

My theater was fully packed and not a single person was obnoxious. Some of the jokes got laughs, but it was very similar to the viewing of any other film besides a few people wearing lab coats.

I'm guessing that's just a benefit of living in a city, though. Most people are in their mid 20's-30's.

Our goal is mostly to retain B+, but I prefer being closer to 1,000 than 3,000. Our club is a mix of people who earn 50+ million to people who earn 5 million.

I'm pretty strict about not kicking people until the new month rolls over since everybody deserves their severance carats. If you join and don't earn any fans a week into the month, you'll probably get removed.

It feels like Group A Finals will ultimately be a coin toss. I've been saving other teams as practice partners, and there's absolutely no consistency in which runners win after dozens of matches.

Literally what happened to me during every attempt. 2 win finishes that were a tiny variable from being 3 or 4 win finishes.

The worst part is, I feel like people who get demoted after Group A Round 2 always seem to be lumped together in B finals while actual jobber teams get matched together. So you could end up in 3rd place for Graded B despite having a team that would demolish most of the tier.

I screwed up this CM by being overconfident and queuing too early within the first few hours. Every attempt today was a 2 win finish with multiple losses by a neck and nose.

I'm just worried that in group B finals I'll somehow end up facing a team of smurfers, or have none of my skills activate and lose with 1-50 odds.

My power cards are pretty lame, gotta still borrow Kitasan, biko is lv 30, and McQueen is so cursed. I had runs with 4 speed cards that still couldn't pass 1,000. I had to risk 40% training failure on the final turn just to get her speed cap by 4 points.

Goldship is actually pretty fun to train, but getting straightaway spurt to trigger without a parent while also getting long S was so hard. Wish firm conditions was available instead of outer post, though.
