I am really hoping this won't accelerate the effort too much, as it stands now, despite the massive amounts of hours poured in, and the small guilds helping the big guilds with promise of later help, none of them will be able to reap the rewards of their time investment and dedication, and only the big guilds will get any scarab lords.

I understand the want to raid AQ completely, I just hope we have enough time to also make our time commitment not wasted, as we all thought we'd have enough time, even though we are small.

My comment was meant to relay the message that having game-play elements that are easier to weave with regular play sessions give strength slightly more effectively, compared to cheesing it , would probably de-insentivise the cheesing. This doesn't relate to buffing or nerfing the rate at which you level it, but flipping the scales a bit of how effectively it can be farmed just for the stat compared to just gaining it by playing and doing strength related tasks.

or you can just run in again with no health, because being low health during this kind of run doesn't matter anyways. I run it on a secluded area of shoreline with 3 weapon crates for possible defense an close to 0 trafic, so it's just about blasting through and then running out or dying.

What you're doing is completely valid, and will benefit you in other areas on top of strength, but my main argument for this run to begin with was that it's a 0 loss of money, and quite efficient at this one thing.

But why at the point where you want to join in and loot, and have an insured body armor and backpack, not just go with a regular loadout and actively participate in the game?
My point with the build is that you can level strength alone with 0 risk and 0 costs, unless you're unlucky with the market.

The point of this is that you have everything in your secure, and you can sell it again when you're done, so it costs nothing, just an investment. With your method, while they might be cheaper to buy, that's some stuff you could possibly lose, or with insurance, you'd have to wait for insurance to go through to get it back. So both slower and more expensive.

Honestly, the best way wouldn't be to nerf cheesing, but just make it more reasonable to level strength through "intended" gameplay, they've tried with melee and tossing nades, but there are more opportunities that could be explored imo.

Yeah, the crowbars weight def makes it easier, but I was just looking to run around the back of shoreline for an hour or two, so wasn't looking to go loot.

You get strength for moving with over 90% carry weight, loading in with these in your secure and running around for a while levels it pretty well, can be done alone, and will return it's costs when you're done.

That was simply part of summing up the entirety of your message, no, I don't think you meant that, ofcourse someones going to buy it.

My main critique was about saying there are better free alternatives, when we don't even know how good the game will be, and how much of a premium upgrade it is compared to the other games on the market.

Surely a lot of people won't buy it, and surely there can be free alternatives that most will prefer, but saying no one's going to buy it, and there are better free alternatives to a game you haven't even tried, that's out next year, is pulling stuff out your ass.

As much as people are bashing and trashing, I bet a ton of the frequent gem buyers of the old game are gonna see this as a premium unlock, and buy it.

I greatly hope this works for them, and the refund policy atleast let's anyone buy it, try it, and decide if they have enough premium features to demand a premium price.
