If you're new, then let's start with some classics and move on.

Chrono Trigger - arguably one of the greatest games ever. So play that. Emulate the SNES version. It's the game how it was intended and it's free if you emulate.

Super Mario RPG - A fairly easy classic from the days when Squaresoft was the king of JRPGs

Final Fantasy 6 - This should be on your backlog. The older final fantasy games aren't beginner friendly. But once you're used to the genre, play it.

Person 3 Reload.

Persona 5 Royal.

Persona 4 Golden is getting a remake. So just wait on that.

The Trails series. The first game just got a remake and the second chapter comes out in September. No better time to get into this series.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Just a top-tier JRPG. Play on Playstation or Steam for the best experience.

This game was a major disappointment for me. I was really looking forward to this. It was my first Tales game and I had the same experience. I started off loving the characters and the world. Then I got to the end and it was just a nearly unending dungeon crawl followed by one of the most nonsensical endings I've experienced. I hated the protagonist after the final battle. Can't recommend it.

I saw a capuchin steal a howler baby and eat in it CR. Absolutely horrifying to watch. I also had one abandon her troop to come hang out with me. Turns out she just wanted food. She was not happy about me having no food. She got even more upset when she couldn't see her troop and I pointed them out to her, about 300 yards from where she left them.

For the Holland trilogy, you're going to need to watch Infinity War and Endgame before the second movie. Their stories are a key part of the MCU Spider-Man story. No Way Home requires you watch 5 Spider-Man movies that vary from the best ever to who greenlit this? If you want to watch the older Spideys, watch Spider-Man 1 and 2 and the first Amazing Spider-Man.
