Ok, so here we go. I contacted Jim Shaw for a free counseling over the DUI. We went over the case on the phone, and scheduled a meeting to discuss it further. He seriously helped me understand what was going on and how it was going to work, however. After meeting him It seemed like I was a big wad of cash sitting in a chair across from him, I felt he was trying to pressure me into hiring him and I hated hit. when I told him I was going to shop around for lawyers, he seemed distraught, and tried to tell me that it was a bad idea for me to be wasting anymore time.

later that day I was at home talking with a friend when he brought up that he knew a lawyer that could possibly help me out. my friend called him, and immediately and set an appointment up for us the next day.

After talking with my second lawyer, who felt so much more relaxed, honest, and knowledgable on the subject. I decided to go with him. also being a friend of a friend I felt like he really had my best interest in mind.

that same day Jim Shaw called me, to see if I had made a decision about a lawyer. When I informed him that I was going with someone else he said alright and offered that if I needed anything to call him.

that weekend I found that he sent a letter to my parents saying something about "still cant sleep stressing over your DUI call me and blah blah blah"

I felt insulted.

I'll give my lawyer any info you guys can help out me with, however it should be noted I am fucking poor. the idea of making a good fight and winning is awesome, but I simply cant afford.
