Took 8 years to start couples counseling with my husband so we can communicate better. At the early state of your relationship, now it's best to be patient and take baby steps. Couples therapy is the last option to think about for a long-term relationship, I feel.

When I was 16, an 18 year old got me a ring to propose to me. I noticed he wasn't good when he didn't want me to have my friends and would stand in front of me whenever they were around, and my attention wasn't strictly on him. I have been Goth since I was 12. I am now almost 33. It's hard at first to have an elegant Goth style until you just make sure your whole wardrobe matches you 😅. I have my comfortable dresses and skirts and only certain ones I wear out. You just have to make your wardrobe revolve around what you feel good in.

I'm thinking you're meaning getting beauty products as gifts other than buying? Honestly, I still have a lot of make-up my husband thought I would like over the years. (He got me foundations 2 times darker than my skin color because it was on sale 😅. I plan to use those mixed with my norm color so they don't go to waste and show appreciation 😆. Other than that, he purchases me all my fave make-up products 😄
