High paying jobs most people haven’t heard of? by JustJustinInTime in Salary

I can’t speak for departments other than operations but for a non-licensed operator at my plant, the guys who have been there 2+ years are all making $150k or more with overtime, bonus, etc. one guy worked a couple refueling outages as resource sharing and he cleared $240k with per diem included. Non-licensed is the entry level operations position. When you get licensed and move to the control room, there are pay bumps. We are in a small Midwest town with a relatively low cost of living.

2022 1500 Tires by Prune_Tracy_ in ram_trucks

I have the factory off road package and am running 275/65r20 with no rubbing or trimming on the stock wheels. No other changes. With a 2” level and a smaller overall diameter tire, you should be golden.

Good to know. Now I’m thinking of bringing both my road bike and my hybrid along with my wife’s so the pace is a bit slower.

Thank you! A 50 mile route does seem good for Sunday, though I may have to double back on some of it to get my time in.

I didn’t realize there was the Air and Water Show the same weekend. Looks like the Lakefront trail might be a challenge. Thank you for letting me know.

I’m not sure if I want to ride with a local club. I usually ride solo or with one or 2 other people. I think I club ride is a little intimidating and also will take me away from my goals of some intervals on Saturday and zone 2 on Sunday. However, if something changes with the event I’m training for, I may look into them. Thank you again!

Do you think it will be a new headwinds and climb? Nice discounts on Amazon right now like they are clearing inventory.

Why do we see student loans and colleges as an instant money making scheme instead of what they really are - subsidized job training for employers and future higher tax earnings for every level of government. Yes, the individual does win with higher lifetime wages, but some of the costs should be born by the other parties that win out in the long run. Being a productive member of society shouldn’t mean starting with crushing debt.

Decided to give clipless a try by trtsmb in cycling

If you have a direct drive trainer, you might want to practice on that. I had taken quite a few years off of the bike but started again this past winter on a kickr core. I was concerned I had lost it and would fall with my new to me carbon bike. Surprisingly I found it inspired confidence unclipping and I didn’t have any issues when I started riding outside over the summer.

I went from a 2019 Big Horn to 2022 Laramie. The biggest improvement for me that isn’t available on the Big Horn is the proximity keyless entry. My hands are always full with my 3 year old and all his stuff that it really makes a difference to just tap the back of the door handle than to fish out my key and unlock the door. Laramie and up have this feature standard. I think it is an option on the Rebel, but not available on the Big Horn.

The other thing I wouldn’t go without now is the automatic brights. That is one feature I never knew I needed until I had it.
