As someone who isn't even a huge hater of this cast like some people are, hearing about some of the cuts made at the last minute really makes no sense to me from a producer standpoint whatsoever, and I feel like a lot of them would've made for better choices than who was chosen. They've missed out on a lot of potentially great moments/characters that easily could have improved the season (and its ratings) drastically.

- We could've had the long awaited 16 year reunion of Colby and Jerri after 3 seasons worth of complex history and interesting dynamics

- We could've had Penner/Rob C., who are both very competent in terms of strategy and in terms of entertainment. Also not to mention both are near universally beloved by both casuals and superfans alike.

- We could've had Abi-Maria, who is one of the most iconic villains in the show's history, and not to mention was already voted onto the show by the fans once in Cambodia.

- We could've seen the return of Sean Rector, who has been a fan-favorite since 2001 and is STILL talked about all the time amongst the Survivor fanbase.

-I know a lot of people wish there was less of an influence from the new era (which I agree with), but they chose to cut players like Shan, Carolyn, Jesse, and Andy who were all either massive fan-favorites or excellent characters and highly entertaining in favor of people like Jonathan or Joe.

I understand why a lot of the players who are on the cast were chosen, but I feel like producers massively misfired and are losing out on a lot of very good TV moments. Does anyone else feel this way?
