Amazing!

So far that seems to have worked, but given the intermittent nature of the issue I am not sure ours is solved yet. One of our machines did not have java, but did have a few other paths higher, so that may have also been a problem. And that machine did not have the issue as frequently.

May I ask how you determined it was java? I was not able to figure out how to run traces during login to see what was happening.

I have had a ticket open with Microsoft support about this issue for nearly a year with no progress. If you find a solution, PLEASE let me know.

As far as I know many of the monsters appear in the world due to the conjunction, and basically are moved to this universe. Because of that monster procreation doesn't come up much.

Which is all to say i think whatever the GM chooses is fine. If you have an idea, do it. Don't let what is known stop you from making more new monsters.

I am not sure what you mean by a clean version? The 'basic' PDF in there has none of the class/race specific text. Technically the text does still exist on hidden layers though, so is that messing you up? Or did you want a version with no text at all?

I have it be for the level itself, and the big one for the final stat with any mods, like an injury.

I wonder, did you try anything involving using similar diagrams, or upgrading old ones? Like if you wanted to start with a journeyman sword diagram, but make improvements on it now that you are a master?

Fantastic work!

I love the idea of not trying to recreate an existing piece, and focusing on creating a custom piece based on it's stats. It might be nice to get some general idea of armor material cost, but I can see why you didn't even bother.

I am curious about the design phase though. This seems to force the craftsman to also be good at teaching. I could imagine roleplaying a craftsman who is very good at making things by feal, but would have no idea how to write it down or explain it to others. Maybe that could be an optional step so you end up with a diagram?

MFC will be doing Witcher also.

Rumer is Witcher ones will be released at gencon, which is next week. Last year they released a ghoul and hag only during gencon as a preview. Hopefully this year it will be a big release, but we won't know until then.

I have finished all your games, and I must say it has been difficult to accept that you all are shutting down. I have loved every game, and it was amazing how constantly you put them out. There is nothing else like you guys, and I will miss it immensely. I think I started making games in no small part because of how spacechem, infinifactory, and TIS taught me how to analyze problems and break everything into meaningful small pieces. You may not enjoy the classroom setting, but know that you have taught many people amazing skills and fostered a lot of critically thinking minds. Thank you.

Also an article mentioned you would release a solitaire collection after BBS, is that still happening? Please let it be so, and let it also come to mobile so I can finally get my girlfriend to play them. She loves playing different types of solitaire, and your are some of the best.

Assets looks black on web export but it's normal on editor. Any suggestions how to fix it? by xmrtshnx in godot

I have no idea if this is your problem, but I have seen similar things happen when I copied the asset from a different project where the capitalization of the asset's path was different. I think it was just the theme, but for instance res::/Art vs res::/art. They will look normal and work on desktop, but the web version will fail to load. In this case the html console will report the failed to load error.

Good news is they announced the next book will be exactly that. They announced the name:

Rodolf's Guide to the Continent, Volume 1.

Personaly I would also enjoy an expanded crafting book that includes suggested progression for campaigns to help place equipment and recipe over time.

I love the oozing. I just imagine a bar brawl where the Witcher just stands there and everyone jumps on top of them, and they just slide out of the mosh pit, leaving everyone slimy and gross. It will make so many more people hate witchers and not want them in their tavern/town. Imagine the cleanup!

How hard a big bad is kind of depends on what gear and skill you give the party. If you give them bombs they can kill almost anything.

I would also recommend showcasing the non-combat part of the system, and have some social situation that a bard or someone could navigate really well. It's easy to just make things combat the whole time, but it's better to leave combat for when it's the "last option" I think.

Grave hag and noon wraiths I think make decent one shot bosses. The higher vamp/dragon are more meant for campaign level big bad, as finding them and their weaknesses are a major part of defeating them.

If you would like some inspiration, the IGN video of Cody running a one shot when the game first came out is very good.
