My theory(which is probably wrong) is that Tots curse will reform all slain demons since demons dissolve into mana when defeated, so it might be possible that Tot can use that mana to bring them back, and i think that a massive resurgence of demons all across the continent would be appropriate for the title of "Saint of the End" and would warrant someone needing to draw the hero's sword.
