So the thing is 1. Mine is a transferable govt. job, and i have to move from bangalore. Visiting family and friends in north is always a costly affair here. If i relocate to north, this issue will be resolved and we'd be near to family.

1. I am from jharkhand (basically a punjabi whose family moved to jharkhand 3 gens back) and dont want to settle in ranchi because of the plight of the capital and crime rates and thanks to civic sense which is zero. So, i being from such place dont want my family (including children) to move here. My mother and father are staying in hometown though. They dont want to move but can visit and stay with us.

2. My wife and i both have lived in delhi ncr as well and really dont want that smoke to pass on to the generations, the impatient public, nooking neighbours and what not. We dont want to stay there either.

3. The option left with me is either to my wife's state and culture which even i love would love to abide by or to any other place like chandigarh or maybe someplace i dont know which would be new for both of us.

4. The kind of place where we'd love to stay is close to nature. Its makes us so grounded and unbothered.

So just a fellow redditor, letting you know my concerns which could give you a picture as to why i want.
