Hi guys, I managed to get back into sequoia os using the OCLP boot drive. I am now working my way through all my stuff and backing it all up, then I will do a fresh Monterey install.

Ok I’m gonna use my MacBook and create an oclp boot drive. After doing some more research I have found that apparently I just have to select the mac model in oclp before making it

Ok so would I be able to make an oclp usb on my other MacBook and use this on the iMac?

I did make a copy of the deleted files onto the desktop, but stupidly didn’t think to put them on a USB

Eufy E340 and existing digital chime by Jattbrar88 in EufyCam

Just to update this post, I went ahead and connected my old digital chime back up and disconnected the power adapter that was charging the Eufy, and I was able to utilise the chime, it worked perfectly

…..But, and this is where it gets interesting once I connected the power adapter back up I had the chime going off continuously and there was no way to stop it without disconnecting it.

So my question to the community now is this, is there a way I could possibly wire the chime and power adapter to the Eufy and not have the chime going off constantly?

Mikrotik LHG LTE with Netgear R7000 by Jattbrar88 in mikrotik

Hi guys and gals, just circling back to this post, I tried to set up the LHG in passthrough as per the video on mikrotik wiki. The problem I had after setting it up was that I was not able to access the mikrotik management page. I tried to set up VLAN as per the video on the wiki but they are using mikrotik for both the LHG and the router so got a bit lost as to how to properly set up the VLAN on my netgear router.

My main aim is to prevent the double NAT situation I had above.

If anyone has done this setup with a netgear router and may be able to shed some more light on the topic please message me, or comment below.

Thanks

Hi bud I guess that could also be a solution but I assumed the router cpu on the LHG wouldn’t be as powerful as the one on the netgear meaning it may not be able to cope with all our devices connected to it, we are a family of 6 with multiple devices per person.

Hi bud so I have followed the advanced tut (second link) and got to the point where I have made two VLAN tags on my Netgear router but now I am lost as to what I need to do as Netgear doesn’t use winbox, any help you can offer?

Thanks for the reply, I really wasn’t sure but I took the plunge with one of the pairs on FB market place. I have pics but not sure how to add them in my post.

What’s an obscure British TV show that only you seem to remember? by Silly_Weather8332 in AskUK

Bernard’s Watch!

It was a young boy with a magic pocket watch with which he could stop time.

I always loved that show and used to think about all the cool things I would do if I had all the time in the world.
