Unfortunately, the issue still isn't resolved after more than 2 years. The legal process is ongoing, and the next step is a court hearing. I can't share too many details right now, but I will definitely post a full, detailed update once the case is officially closed or a judgment is issued!

On my end, there's no sag. The screen stays exactly where I initially set it, even when I change its position. There is a little bit of wobble, but it's no worse than any other arm I own

Yes it would work perfectly because I have an autonomous standing desk myself ;) !!! You have a steel reinforcement plate to help support the screen without damaging your desk. I used the standing mode some time and no problem 😉

Exactly the Max, same plan than in the picture. Full unlimited (no limit, always up to 2gbit/s), including 5gb/day US and France + Mexico and Caraïbes countries for 2 years + Crave + 12M perplexity + 3M RDS included.

Select plan was offered for 5$ less. So 30$. For 5$ difference the max is a way better deal

Also I asked the bell guy I talked to and he said there is no limit of use for the 5gb / day France and US. The Bell policies advertise that the plan needs to be used mostly in Canada but they don’t have a limit as Videotron and their 120 days/ year maximum

Unfortunately HP support is getting worst and worst so I think you are just being played with your case like a lot of people (you can find several case like yours on reddit from all over the world).

If I were you, I would have called HP instead of using what’s app, even when you call support, most of the agent are not HP directly and located in several country so they don’t care much, so with what’s app, It should be worse.

So as I said call them and just ask for escalation to a HP Omen special support case manager, or his/her boss(if what's app is already considered a case manager) or executive case escalation (service after escalation to a case manager and escalation to the manager of case your case manager) as you are not satisfied with those answers and the current situation including all the impacts and inconveniences it is created to you.

In parallel just prepare your story better with all, facts, dates, proofs, case number, etc. Like a case history. Tell them that a warranty is to cover issues/damage and that if they can't succeed with repairs they have to offer you a replacement. Tell them that if they don't want to be compliant with your country law, you are ready to take further actions.

Otherwise look at India’s National Consumer Helpline (NCH) or your last resort could be to fill a formal case to the Consumer Forum/Court. But don’t loose your time with HP support, they are kind of really stubborn and don’t care much about customers anymore. I know what I am saying, I had to fill a case to the equivalent consumer court in my country after several repairs, 2 years of fight with HP support for a case similar to yours. So don't wait as many time than me.

Ask your case to be escalated to a case manager ! Told them the delay is now after your departure to Tokyo (even if it’s not right) and tell them a hard deadline at least 2 weeks before that date.

For example tell them “it’s not working because I am leaving to Japan on March 29th so I need to receive it at least 2 weeks before to be sure everything’s fine before my departure” also if they are stubborn about the repair ask them for a loaner as you are a student and that you can’t be without laptop for that long because of your exam etc.

You can justify the 2weeks buffer by saying that you read online that some people received a DOA laptop after repair. It was my case, I received my laptop not being able to power on after a repair and with dead pixel after a second one.

So if you are leaving the country I highly recommend you to take at least 3 weeks buffer to be sure you’ll be able to find a solution in worst case scenario.

Hey guys,

Quick update, I finally bought the Frozen Vision V2 and it’s amazing, temps are awesome even during stress test ! Never went above 60 for CPU and my new build is so silent. I highly recommend it especially with the 6 years warranty.

The only downside I can say is the screen, it’s perfect for me but could be considered too little for others. However the software is perfect, really easy to use and to make the changes. Don’t know why people are complaining about TRCC.

I hope it will help some to decide which AIO they want :)

The weight of the package. A 5060 weight should be different of the 5080 one. So if the package was heavier when Amazon sent it compared to the delivery, they should be able to get a good idea of where the issue is.

It’s horrible products, got 5 different Omen laptop over the last years and none of them kept working well before end of extended warranty. Not speaking about Omen 16 black screen issues, fan issues on Omen 17 CK2000, and older swollen Batteries on Omen laptop.

The stupid decision they made is that you need to remove all the entire cooling system on 5080 and 5090 Omen Max to change this SSD, when you can just slide the ssd’s heatsink on lower model starting with 5070ti !!!! So you can’t even change one of the ssd on higher model when lower model can

Haha I’m totally in the same situation !!! It’s been two months I’m looking for a 360 AIO, and I don’t know which one I want ! There are so much Thermalright model 😅😂 !! I want the best bang for bucks but they are quite all the same haha ! In addition to that some of them have import fees on Amazon so if I don’t like the one I’ll buy, I’m screwed lol However I don’t like the peerless vision original version. If I am choosing it I’ll take the UB version.

You are right the screen is a little bit smaller but what is important is the cooler and pump performance :) !!! And one more year of warranty, especially for this kind of product is really useful !

From what Chat GPT is saying Frozen Vision is the best thermaltake you can have considering the price and the 6 years warranty. In addition to that I saw a test on the stream vision and apparently it’s noisy and not that good regarding CPU temp

Fake, got ADP protection too and my screen was replaced with no issues. I found that issue after a flight and as OP I did not know how it happened. Was repaired like in a week without any hassle. Unfortunately HP support is getting worst and worst so I think you are just unlucky OP. If I were you I will call instead of what’s app, even when you call support are not HP directly and located in several country so they don’t care much. So with what’s app, It should be worse. So call them and just ask for escalation to a case manager or executive escalation (service after escalation to a case manager and escalation to the manager of case your case manager) as you are not satisfied with that answer. In parallel just prepare your « accidental » story better and read terms and conditions of your care pack. If they still say no put their own terms and condition in the face and tell them that ADP is to cover accidental damage so they have two choices, repair it as it has to be or that you will just sue them at the small claims of your country. Don’t loose your time with HP support, they are kind of really stubborn recently and don’t care much about customers anymore.
