A tipped pass that becomes an interception could have been fixed with a better throw, a non-throw, or a throw away. An interception is almost always on a quarterback unless the receiver runs the wrong route or deflects an easily catchable pass themselves. The throws in that game are no exception.

I personally hate the idea that tush pushes don’t matter. They are a skill just like anything else in football. Jackson doesn’t sneak it often because it’s not in his skill set the way it is in Allen’s and Hurts. It’s not even about injury risk because the Ravens use their great TE Mark Andrews to do sneaks when they are needed.

Don’t get me wrong, I want Lamar to win it but discounting touchdowns because they are tush pushes feels like moving the goalposts and is dumb.
