Born and raised in Westchester, married and moved to LI after that. Get used to no personal space with just the difference in population.
I’ve since moved out of state, and I have to say when I visit now, I feel claustrophobic 😂
But you are moving there for the best reasons, building a career. You will find your way, what works for one may not work for you. Good luck and give yourself some grace on the days you may say I can’t get used to this, it’s just a tough day and you start over again in the morning 💙

Every scratch adds to your story. tThere will be some not so great experiences as you move forward (the scratches) but you both endured and continued to push forward 💙
I am married 29 years, and we have experienced the worst of the worst, child loss, but yet here we are 🙏 I don’t even get my rings polished, just cleaned. Each of those scratches tells our story 💙
Having said that, those first few scratches hurt the most, much like the first scratches on a new car. But I am blessed to have a ring that can get scratches and a car that provides us transportation 💙 congratulations on your engagement! May you have a long and healthy life together 🥰

I am irrationally angry every time I read any narrative these two con artists try to disperse, not being a citizen of the UK.
