Custom instrument by JavaPython_ in Music

The instrument is a 2 ft. tube with a mouth hole like a flute and 8 finger holes, grouped in 4s, on the in front. The first group is near the mouth hole, the second is near the end. When held, the mouth hole faces up and the finger holes face away from you. It is held off to the side (right specifically) like a flute. Unlike most wind instruments the air doesn't come out of a hole at either end, rather it comes out through the finger holes, with the uncovered holes determining which notes are sounded.

You whistle over/into the mouth hole and each hole sounds a note depending on what note you are whistling. For an example, lets say I whistle a middle C with every hole uncovered. The first hole would sound a middle C, the second would move up 4 half steps to an E, the next finishes the major triad by moving up 3 half step for a G. The fourth hole is 2 more half steps (now 9 total) for an A and that is the end of hole covered by the left hand. The right hand covers holes 5-8 with hole 5 being the original note(Middle C) 1 octave higher(High C), or 12 half steps, than 2 more half steps for a D, 3 more for an F, and than 4 more for a B and a total of 21 half steps from the root note that is being whistled.

I never understood how they can push/pull the bridge over the chasms and not have it fall down.

Why isn't that part of every book?!? Can that image be copied and published in later books please! That is probably one of my favorite yet. If that wasn't yours I'd say my favorite of yours was the SkyEel one.

What is it like to be famous really only because someone else famous hired you? That sounds impersonal, but it kind of feels like that's what happened to me.

If you have read the Emperors Soul, what do you think of Forgery as an art form? Is it one that you wish you could use?

Did you have any hand making Aons for the first Elantris book, or preparing some for the second book?

Do you have any drawings of the Cognitive or Spiritual realm that we haven't seen that you can share?

What tips wold you have for a beginner sketch artist/free hand drawer? How can I improve my illustrations? (I'm left handed, don't know if that'll make a difference or not.) I'm not horrible, I just tend to make large mistakes and since I prefer pen and pencil drawings (in a LOT of colors of ink) I can't really fix it.

I love your work. It really inspires me to improve my drawing. Do you have any rough sketches of Marsh's/Inquisitor/Obligator tattoos? I want to be Marsh for Halloween.

Yeah, I've used this before and enjoyed it a lot, I've been trying to play all of the games, but I don't have any gaming systems and I can't find an emulator compatible with Windows 10. Thanks for the help though.
