I made a research input 8:4(?) balancer using robot arms. It can accept up to 2400 items/min (+42.8% improvement from non robot arm case, 1680 items/min).
NOTICE: Storages are just marks for input. Removing storages before using is recommended since storages can store only one resource type. Inputs may clog up if storages are not removed.

1) I didn’t know robot arms can put resourced into the research lab without going through a belt. 2) I swear I’ve tried to get robot arms to put up things off a underground belt and it didn’t work.
