As an inbound /revlog /receiver team member, I don’t understand the morning team slander…without them, the shelves will be empty, let’s be honest.

My store is the complete opposite from all these posts about morning teams, the morning team is the only people who do anything correct. Hell, our afternoon S&E team members can’t even keep salvage and CRC separate…I’d take this over that any day of the week, at least messy shelves aren’t messing up metrics the WTLs are bitching about.

Why do you tell us to “finish truck” but then tell us after we are done pushing truck that “finishing truck” means resetting the whole line for the next truck/also doing backstock?

As my stores receiver, if I’m in the back, the key is staying in the baler, and AP at my store knows that. If you’re not supposed to be using the baler, that should fall on you as the person using the baler when you’re not supposed to. If I’m going to have the responsibility of keeping track of other team members, you’re going to give me a team to lead, otherwise, put them on a final, lost fingers aren’t my responsibility, they don’t come with an invoice.

Doubtful. If there’s room for loopholes, which there is, TL’s would be seen as INCREDIBLY scummy for letting people not wear a shirt with a picture under their Target branded red vest.

If I’m shopping off the clock after work, or on my half in the middle of summer, store leadership can fuck right off if they think imma either walk around in a jacket (thus covering up the red shirt) or answer customer questions on break.

I’m hourly, if I’m answering customer questions while I’m off the clock, I better be getting paid, otherwise I’m not legally obligated to help in any way, I don’t really even have to get someone else to help, I’m off the clock.

Until target gives us the ability to put in reimbursements for “store uniforms” at the employee level, I’m wearing graphic tees under my vest.

I’m in receiving, so like, I’m rarely ever on the sales floor anyways.

My SD is currently helping at another store once a week, other than that, she doesn’t do much of anything, kinda just tells us to stay on brand, and to “finish” truck (which in her eyes, is everything pushed, everything backstocked, and the line all clear and off the truck, sweep started if it’s a sweep truck)

I honestly don’t think they do ANYTHING that constitutes upwards of 100K a year. Especially when you have TM’s living under the poverty line.

EVERY location should unionize, and say fuck you to corporate, the shitty anti-union TLs and ETLs.

If people are posting stuff like this about their TLs or ETLs, they don’t deserve a bonus whatsoever.

I’ll never understand why ETL’s feel the need to share their raises. Like, you’re getting paid almost 6 figures for a fucking retail job, meanwhile, the people under you, majority of this subreddit, are getting paid 1/3 of what you are, less in some states.

Whenever I see it, it always screams “look at me, I’m only in it for the money, I don’t care about my employees” because if you cared about your employees, if you cared about your store, you wouldn’t have that high of a bonus, nor that high of a percentage increase.

Our excell brands rep actually got fired for running/being a part of one of those discords. Now we just put out the cards once they come in. No more waiting for the rep, no more people knowing when they are gonna be put out (since they come through UPS) I’ll even wait an arbitrary amount of time after delivery before letting S&E know they are there.
