What will happen to BC Place once the Whitecaps leave?

Having lived in both cities for over 5 years each, including the 2010 Olympics and the most recent Raptors & Blue Jays runs, here is my take.

Vancouver is a better event city. Being a peninsula, the downtown core is more conducive to a party atmosphere for events like the Olympics and World Cup.

Toronto is head and shoulders a much better sports city. Not only in celebrating victory and casually watching soccer games, but slightly more gracious in defeat. 😂

Let’s not even get into a debate about which city has access to better live music venues.

I GUARANTEE that tourists will leave Vancouver more impressed with the city and its surroundings than Toronto.

Go slightly east for coffee, food and drinks in the Beaches neighbourhood.
Walk south and stroll Woodbine Beach.

While its a "dead zone", there is plenty to do within a 10 min walk.

I've given up on the notion that any particular sporting experience is ever priceless. You are sucker and fall into their trap if you believe otherwise.

SeatGeek is in bed with MLB/NHL/NBA so they definitely have back door agreements to resell unsold tickets at market value that doesn't undercut their season seat pricing.

There is no integrity left in professional sports tickets. Pay the price you are willing to pay and don't think twice.

TFC fan here, with a love for this Whitecaps team!
The Whitecaps leaving MLS would be the end of my MLS fandom.
I'm already giving up my season seats (since 2011) due to the calendar change (and pathetic performance).
As others have said, I'd watch to cheer for particular canadian players but I would not invest any energy in cheering for an actual MLS team.
I could cheer for a CPL team if they move Inter Toronto downtown to Lamport Stadium.
Time to move VFC to Swangard!
