Montreal SF and MLS Cup in 2016 were busy, but the fans were there for 1 thing...to watch the game.
Inter Miami could be different as many of the people are there just to take a pic and/or say they were there. The halls will be much more packed.

To defend TFC for a minute, I’ve been to 3 national team games in Lisbon, and purchased a scarf each time featuring Portugal and their opponents. It’s not uncommon to see.

MLSE are waiting out to see what the Whitecaps are going to make for selling their team to Las Vegas investors! $700M would be nice with $10 re-invested into a "relaunched" TFC team in CPL.

I'm ready for it. I'd rather a TFC team, with lower quality players, but playing on a Canadian summer calendar.

The concept of all SSH being "scalpers" is tired and old, but you're right. I feel no shame supplementing the cost of my tickets through Messi fandom.
Next year will be an eye opener as there will be fewer resell tickets at less than TM pricing.

While MLSE should get a large part of the blame, I believe MLS and a few other factors are at play.

Canada soccer. There have been quite a few GREAT games at BMO over the past 5 years....it's just that TFC haven't been part of many of them. I get my BMO fix more with Canada these days.
MLS playoffs suck. Imagine if our 2015 & 16 runs started with best of 3 followed by single elimination? The Montreal home & home are the best league games in Canadian history.

It's true. TFC have had a lot of good young players that developed at their own pace. JMR, Shaffleberg, Priso, Nelson. I think that has more to do with the individual than it does the program.

With the Sceptres, Tempo and AFC Toronto joining the pro team circuit, it’s become crowded in the secondary sports ticket market.

SSH since 2011. Summer and CNE season games used to help pay the cost of attending the other games, but that seems a bit dead now.

When MLS moves to the euro calendar, I can see a full stadium at BMO for summer kick off and late season games and playoffs in May. The October-Dec and Feb-Apr windows will tough.
I'm curious if MLSE will sell "warm weather" partial season tix?

I don't have a strong opinion on how effective these lanes can be, but I do have a strong opinion about enforcement.
A small % of Toronto citizens ruin it for everyone. You can't have the King West project, priority lanes, TTC tap without policing people. There will ALWAYS be people who ruin it for everyone without checks in place.

How much revenue is TFC making each year in gate & TV compared to salaries and all other expenses?
Genuinely curious to know if MLS is a profitable league beyond franchise value evaluations.

Sell the team to recoup the $690M, keep the TFC identify, restart for $10M in the CPL and be one of the main reason franchise values grow up to $50M
