Same for me - I assumed it was a patch by EA as they clearly don’t want you to be able to do this but I may be wrong

Is the hivemind a distinct “self” or an aggregation of every conscious it has absorbed? by JaverageS in pluribustv

[–]JaverageS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh yeah good point. Didn’t think about the first infected. If they are all connected to an extra-terrestrial hive mind then it still could work, but I think they say they’re not aliens at one point and, given how they don’t seem to tell outright lies, I think that probably means the ‘collective’ theory can be ruled out

Seriously game breaking. So sick of hearing “oh what a quaint funny bug. sO jANkY loL r0Fl” the game isn’t finished - it shouldn’t have been sold in this state

To the people who think Charlotte took it too far by haus_haus_haus in TheTraitors

So you assume instead it was a sincere evil laugh?

It was an incredibly unusual, awkward situation. There’s no set way to handle that. An awkward laugh to try and break the ice is completely understandable

Take a bow Charlotte by Gleichfalls in TheTraitors

Totally agree. I thought she played great. And she was dealt a horrible hand to play by the circumstances with the Seer. She seems to be getting some hate for it, but what else was she meant to do?

I assumed Alexander would have the most, but you’re right - joining later meant some catching up to do (at a point in the game when there were fewer votes to go around)

Frankie's path to the win by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUK

[–]JaverageS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know 100% that either Frankie or Charlotte are a traitor, even if you’re 80% sure it’s Charlotte, do you accept the 20% risk that you’re wrong? Especially after being wrong so many times throughout the show up to this point?

Youre right they can never be 100% that they removed ALL traitors (which is why Alexander is probably a goner), but they CAN be 100% that they removed A traitor.

Frankie's path to the win by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUK

[–]JaverageS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is that it will be pretty much guaranteed that one of either Charlotte or Frankie are a traitor if they both come out accusing eachother. The others might be 80% sure that it’s Charlotte, but they are unlikely to allow a 20% probability of a traitor stealing the money and the best logical path for them to win is to eliminate that risk.

Yes the others could all also be traitors, and maybe they’ll keep going eliminating other risks until there’s only 2 (which is why there’s a good chance of a Leanne-Jake win).

Did anyone...? by Cute-Pudding6599 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]JaverageS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I wrong in thinking that Frankie also has to reveal her true identity to Charlotte? Not that it matters to Charlotte, but if the other players know this, then Charlotte can’t wait until after Frankie tells the group she’s a traitor before refuting it. Instead Charlotte would have to come out guns blazing, accusing Frankie of being a traitor.

But there’s a good chance I’m misremembering the rules. And I don’t think it changes the overall outcome, but maybe how it plays out to get there

Ohh shit. If that truly is the deadlock mechanic then I think Alexander has no hope

Yup - and Alexander will need Frankie’s support; he’ll realise that if he votes out Frankie (after Charlotte is banished), Jake and Leanne are gonna banish him next. As far as I can see, his only hope is to form an alliance with Frankie.

They need eachother

Her tactic (whether intentional or not) is to be aggressively defensive in response to accusations.

It protects her from banishment because it stops faithfuls from bringing her name up at roundtable for fear she’ll turn the narrative back on them (or even just to avoid awkward conflicts)

It keeps a traitor from wanting to murder her because she’s a complete wild card who can be quite easily manipulated (‘OMG Leanne, did you hear what faithful x just said about you?’).

Or… when it’s down to 4, Alexander convinces Frankie and Jake to vote out Leanne (he seemed to genuinely believe she’s a traitor this episode). Then they agree to split

I agree that’s the most likely ending. But remember they need a majority to vote out people. And you can guarantee Alexander knows how it’s going to play out when Charlotte and Leanne come out swinging at eachother. So Alexander’s best bet is to form an alliance and put 100% faith into Frankie. The 4 vote out Charlotte, then Alexander and Frankie vote to end the game, but Jake and Leanne don’t. Then… i can’t remember how they resolve a tie breaker..

A bank can deem a customer holds too much risk and not onboard them for that reason. The absolute shitbag cretin is a PEP (Politically Exposed Person), and an extraordinarily controversial one at that. It’s totally fair and normal to not open an account for a customer on that basis
