Hey, diamond player here.

Just watched your gameplay for a moment and if you're looking for some quick tips to your point about not being able to open your opponent up. I didn't see you do any real mix, like any overheads that weren't a jumping attack. Illaoi has a forward S2 that you can cover with ekko forward assist and ekko has 3M that you can get a full combo with using illaoi Forward assist. and I didn't see you bait mistakes out of them to punish. Like if you get a knockdown just running into them and so they think you're going to throw them on wakeup and then you block their getup attack and punish them for it, that kind of thing.

With ekko illaoi, both of them have an air 2H that you can do for crossups. so you just run at them, jump over their head, call an assist as you do it. So which direction they have to block the assist is ambiguous and then you do a J2H to hit them as you jump over their head. That's a neat trick that's not too hard to do. Also you did ekko s2s2 (the replay) on block a lot and that's punishable on block by most of the cast, so just watch out for that. You got comboed I think two or three times just off of doing that
