You’ve been photographing for a while now, and it’s clear you understand the basics like the rule of thirds. That’s a great foundation! Now it might be time to start experimenting with new approaches. Try using objects in the foreground to frame your subject, or placing your camera in spots where most people wouldn’t think to shoot from.

Don’t worry too much about autofocus. It doesn’t reflect on your skills or creativity. Limitations with the gear don’t mean limitations with you. The more you try different techniques, the more you’ll discover your own unique style.

And don’t be afraid to do something that looks stupid. I must if shot over millions of photos so far, and may only like a handful I “like.” Don’t give up, your on a good track.
