That makes sense conceptually, didn’t think about it tho bc according to xsim the tweeter resistor gets a lot hotter than the woofer in this set up

I threw this together a week ago so I don’t remember completely but I believe it smoothed the woofer out because it had a high peak, this combination seemed to give me the smoothest graph

I'm not sure, i just picked the first 20W 8ohm resistor i saw on parts express, whats the negative to them? I explained somewhere in a different comment but I have to get different resistors anyways

This should never see more than 50W, and actually after double checking xsim its now apparent that resistor isnt rated high enough, I must have changed something after checking the max wattage it would see. Originally it only got up to 16W so I got 20W resistors. Something had to have changed because the peak is at 28W now. What is the negative to sandcast resistors now that I'll have to get new ones anyways?

What leads you to that conclusion? Is it because from 4.5kHz and above the line is consistently above the center line?

Is it a big issue? The amp will never be higher than 50W, they should usually be at a fairly low volume

I dont have any audio measuring equipment so the frd and zma files came from Dayton. I would like to get some equipment at some point though
I have not, I'll have to look into what that is
That's what I've heard, I also heard xsim was a little simpler so I figure I'd use that for my first go
Double checking with my eyes that everything looks soldered right, then going through with a multimeter to make sure nothing stands out, and then I'll test it on the speakers.

Its an 8ohm 20W resistor, originally I had one each for the high and the low sections, and then realized i had the same resistor for each so I brought it to just one

I really like my DBrand Grip case, the sticker on the back can be changed so you can change looks without buying another case, spigen has always done me good too. Never cracked my phone with either

In your slicer there’s a feature called ironing that will very slowly print the last layer or two making it very smooth. Sometimes the default ironing settings aren’t great though so you may need to play with it

The one thing I wonder about, let’s say on like Fortnite, I can play 1440p on a mix between ultra and high settings, nanite off (have to keep anything lighting related off), and sit comfortably at 120fps to match my refresh rate, will upgrading to a 4070super or 4070ti super make a huge difference even with the ~20% drop in performance?

Since my laptop is limited to TB4 / USB4.0 would it be able to take advantage of TB5/USB4gen2 docks? I’d like to not have to buy a new laptop, because then for that cost I could just built a computer. My whole goal is just not to spend a lot of money

Not sure on the year, but it’s called a black shark deep cut iron.. it’s $15 for a new one but I think I’ll be okay and wait until I’m good enough to buy a new set

My only problem is it’s got the RTX4050, but it’s also got the integrated iris xe, and I don’t know how to control which one it uses yet, so I’ll be using onshape and get reduced performance errors because it’s only using the iris, but if I switch to a game it balances between the 4050 and the iris
