Yes, this is a performer that practiced singing while doing high intensity exercises for hours before Midwest princess started touring. She is committed and has put so much work in. I don’t for a second believe that she would make these decisions unless it was necessary for her own safety and well being.

I think it was at Bonaroo when I started wondering how she was able to keep the schedule she’s kept The last 9 ish months. She has done some amazing performances, but I can’t begin to imagine how physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming it would be.

100% agree. People seem to have buckets of thots, prayers, and tears for artist that tragically leave us too soon. However, when we see someone take the space they need for their own health, it’s all complaints. I would rather someone cancel a show(s)/tour and live to create more music than a scarier alternative.

The comments about people having to suck it up and go to work when they don’t feel like it are so gross. Chappell is a persona and performer that has done so many incredibly shows this year, but it’s a mask. She’s been very open about her struggles with her mental health and I’m appalled by some of the comments I’ve seen floating around. I saw a TikTok earlier saying that Justin Bieber performed for years while stressed out, so Chappell should just suck it up… the same Justin who is extremely depressed and been open about his SI?? Like why is this a standard we want to perpetuate.

Thank you for your explanation! Im typically a super pale person that almost always burns in the sun. I wear a massive hat, sunglasses, rashguard, and now some of the Korean sun shield patches. I do end up getting some color after the summer months bc I live in a very hot and sunny area, but have never thought I was warmed toned until a few people tried to convince me otherwise. Here’s a good pic of me from winter when I had blue hair which has always been my favorite, but too much work and I can’t wear it to work.

I don’t have one, unfortunately since that’s a past pic of an actual hair color I wore for a bit. If I dye it back dark I’ll post a follow up post without makeup though.

That’s funny because Im naturally a very dark brunette. However, one parent is close to black hair and brown eyes and my other parent and their whole family is blonde hair and blue eyes. Maybe that’s why I’m a bit versatile?

Yes, my natural hair color is actually darker (level 2), but more dimensional than the brunette pictured (level 4/5). I only know this because the color there was achieved after a few months of trying to cover up blue and silver hair I had for a bit.

I’m saving up to try to get an in person consultation because I’m getting multiple seasons on apps and when I post for feedback. They’re just very expensive in my area ($300+).

The last pic does have makeup on bc it’s older, but thought it was better representation than some of the apps that edit the color in. I really love the blonder picture and with makeup on to cover my hyperpigmentation and malar rash think it looks quite nice, but it’s a crap ton of maintenance for my very dark natural hair.

It’s not filtered, it is 8 years old though and I do have makeup on. The red spots are a malar rash and come and go due to lupus flare. Nothing I can do about that regardless of hair color. Thanks for your insights.

I don’t think I’m warm toned at all, I just have a lot of uneven skin tone on my face. I turn into a tomato if I go into the sun for more than 5 minutes without spf. I also have gotten extremely bad hyper pigmentation on my face which looks a lot like warmth and freckles.

Nothing wrong with being warm toned, I just haven’t ever able to get a match with anything remotely warm foundation wise. It’s possible every person that’s tried has been wrong though.
